“The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It is located in the middle of the river, so we needed to take a boat to get there, which was a very interesting experience. We arrived quite late, and their customer service contacted us to check if we needed any help, which was very sweet of them. We only spent one night in this hotel, and everything was good.”
“The place is in a remote location in the calm waters, facing the Philae Temple. Room feels like a highly comfortable house in a dream village. Spa facilities are amazing, I would highly recommend the Egyptian hot stamp massage of Mrs. Zainab. The staff is super kind, joyous and peaceful, Mr. Shoum from the restaurant, making my check-out breakfast box with a fresh mango juice ready in a blink of an eye, Mrs. Merna and Mr. Joseph in the front desk being very helpful, upgrading my room to a jakuzi room, solving all my requests in minutes and, Mr. Besim delivering me my necklaces (that I realized that I forgot in my bathrobe’s pocket in the airport) in a speedy way right to the airport, all unforgettable… With the elegantly natural interior and exterior design in breeze of basil Ben Ben by Dhara is an oasis for Egyptian tourism.
Because the place takes place in the lower dam you need to reach there by taxi and take the hotel’s boat waiting in the dock, but it’s worth the distance. I’d highly recommend, do not hesitate.”
“David was always on hand to give particularly helpful advice, including arranging trips, going to the bus station, etc
This is one of the best value hostels I have stayed in Aswan located in a local community and shop with local price and only 3 pounds to go to city center. If you want to experience the local life and are not in a hurry, I strongly recommend staying here for a longer time.”
“Everything. This is new opened hotel, Everything is very clean. 10 minutes walk from Abu Simbel temple.
Owner is very kind. I highly recommend this hotel.”
“Incredible location, very calm, very peaceful, in the middle of nature. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The food is very good and served in large quantities. We can even swim in the Nil! Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Assouan.”
“Khaled was very helpful and friendly. There's an issue with hot water, and he helped us
The location is good , next to the river, it's good to go for a walk
We enjoyed the breakfast with the Nile River views.”
“Nice place to stay in Abu Simbel, it is a beautiful colourful and well kept building with lovely gardens. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Good fixed price dinner, which was more expensive than elsewhere in Egypt, but seems more standard for Abu Simbel. Staff were friendly. Not far from the temples, which is handy if you're making multiple visits (eg returning to see the light show). The driver we had booked and brought with us from Aswan was made welcome here by the staff.”
“Property is in a quiet area of Aswan, away from the noisy city. Crossing the street it has an exclusive area to swim into the Nile river or do some kayaking, which are rented for a cheap price. They also offer water and soft drinks and a small breakfast included. You can easily spend many days relaxing in the hostel, without even leaving to do attractions.”
