Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaThe hotel was great. The transfer company that the hotel organised to pick us up however was not. A long wait at the airport for them to organise their passengers, waiting for passengers that didn't even go into our van.
Good value for money. We only stayed one night as the flight was arriving at midnight and we couldn't get to our other accommodation that required a boat trip. The outdoor area was beautiful and the restaurant area was relaxing.

AustraliaThe property was a bit tired. Not sure how old it was, but it needs updating every where, from the rooms, the pool and the breakfast to the food on offer.
The position of The Moorings was fantastic. A 10 to 15 min walk to town. We were lucky enough to get o e of the harbour view rooms. Even though it was a bit small, the view was awesome. Staff were friendly, helpful but very keen to get you to spend at the property.

AustraliaSecurity grill over flyscreen meant the view out of the room to the water was obstructed a bit and noisy/clunky to open & close, and another powerpoint for charging devices would’ve been great
It was good value for money, with a central location to Port Vila and the airport for our late night flight. Staff kindly agreed & remembered to leave delicious food in our rooms for our midnight checkin. Waterfront was a nice view to wake up to.

FranceAs for almost every locations in the city centre, the noise can be a problem. The rooms on the garden side are more exposed to the hotel bar and other city-related noises, so to be avoided for light sleepers... :)
Very kind and reactive staff, available at the front desk 24/7. Clean room with AC, and good (free) internet access. A mini fridge and safe are available. The location is very convinient, close to the water and to the city centre.

GermanyUnfortunately there have been made wrong promises from Anna. Due to flight cancellation I could just stay 1 night instead of 3 nights at the hotel. I know that is an insurance case, but I still talked to Anna (the owner) in case we could find an easier solution. She promised if I can find a solution with booking that she gets the money for 2 nights and booking their money they can refund the 3rd night for me. After talking to booking Anna has never answered to any phone calls and neither to E-Mails. A bit disappointed that wrong promises have been made On top the rooms are not very comfortable, its okay to stay there for a couple of nights but it is not a really a good spot to stay longer Internet is often not working
