It was not their fault but the restaurant was closed due to staffing shortage but they moved us to a nicer room, which was great. The breakfast is mid, so if that is your purpose for staying here I would not go for the breakfast.

I loved the view...the view the view. So great! I would book a room with a view 100%. We did not go in the pool but it looked great..we were there for a short time. Also staff was super friendly!

Breakfast included but served cold and no coffee. Property needs some tuning up, not worth the price. Stayed in the villa, and the entire area needed maintenance and tidying up.

The hotel is a little run down but we thought it added to the charm, and clearly work is being done to repair/renovate.

Very welcoming staff. We were upgraded to a better/bigger room without requesting it. We enjoyed the fabulous view while having happy hour in the lounge. April was a friendly and fun bartender. Breakfast was good and the woman serving was charming and accommodating. The bed was comfortable and the room dark and quiet - we had a great night's sleep.

View was amazing. The rooms were very well decorated and clean. The pool was surprisingly deep and refreshing. My bedroom had a private balcony which overlooked the pool and the ocean. It was awesome.

Changing up breakfast menu instead of the same thing everyday

The breakfast was good except the menu never changed, The Villa was big and spacious. We had a small water leak off the balcony but the Hotel Mgr. and Owner were very accommodating with us and took care of the problem

The toilet had a loose handle and had trouble flushing. It looked like someone tried to fix it previously but did a lousy job.

The view is spectacular. The breakfast was delicious - I had the apple caramel French toast, and we were able to linger because we had a late flight. Staff was very friendly including their new bartender. She made happy hour and a casual dinner extra fun.

Bathroom stall is small, if you are a larger person this shower was too small.

Breakfast was great. Nice addition to a perfect stay. Location was perfect for me rm 117. Close to the top. Love outside seating. Great for cocktails and chilling. In town, so it's convenient but. Need a car/ taxi. Great for couples. Stairs and levels here, so not for elderly, disabled, wheelchair bound persons. People with knee issues. Sorry.. Great spot overall.

Bed could use an update - maybe less squeeky

We had a quick requirement with a cancelled flight. We knew the Mafolie and so decided just to take a taxi there instead of wait in the long lines at the airport for a voucher. The staff were great - setting up return taxi service - helping us out in the evening. While the restaurant was closed because it was Tuesday, we were able to walk up the street to Sibs on the Mountain. Way nicer experience that the vast majority of the stranded travelers!

Best view in St Thomas. Great area for the pool. Restaurant has great views and good service. Parking can be a pain and the street isn't too walkable - but that's not why one comes to the Mafolie

The hotel did have a brief water issue but things happen sometimes especially on an island.
