Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PolandTariq has been a very friendly and helpful host - you can ask him anything and he has time for you. The neighborhood is unique - serene and calming. If you are a birdwatcher, that’s a place for you. If you are not - it still is. Lotus ponds around, Kashmiri style meals and the view! Houseboat well kept - nothing to complain about

SingaporeHmm the weather was too hot while I was there but it's not the houseboats fault :)
The houseboat is located in a quiet park of the lake overlooking the lotus ponds. It's spectacularly beautiful and hidden from the Lakeshore which is a madhouse. Boat rides to and from the houseboat are free. Host Tariq is well versed in dealing with foreign guests and is very helpful with arranging stuff. I understand he does excursions beyond srinagar and treks as well but unf there was no time for that. Location wise, I observed that up to about ghat 10 the houseboats are super near the Lakeshore. So, depending on whether you want convenience or privacy you can plan accordingly.

SpainThe owner, Tariq, is wonderful. He was waiting for us at the Ghat when our taxi arrived. The boat is at the Lotus Flower area... far from the noise of the Ghats. The bathroom was just ok... but remember, it is on a boat! A very peaceful stay!

IndiaThe location is isolated than the other house boats. So it's secluded and quiet providing peace and calmness . The host are super good and helpful. They provided us with itinerary tips and places to visit. Food was super delicious,cooked by host's family. They shared their experiences and showed Kashmir from their view.

Indiacant think of anything as such, as all houseboats are similar.This one had a really nice location and the owners were really friendly.
I really like the guys who owned this place which is why I stayed here twice .9/10. Definitely recommend it if you want to stay on a house boat.
