Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaTerrible WiFi and very basic breakfast (toast, pastries and coffee/tea). However bought a 30GB data SIM around the corner at the supermarket which worked really well and you can order additional breakfast items at a reasonable additional cost.

VanuatuBreakfast, room and dinner were excellent. My Kids really enjoy the stay, relaxing before going back to school. Highly recommend also because of the location, close to the CBD, shops, easy to catch public transports (bus & taxis). The Melanesian is very convenient and secured for families. The staffs are very friendly and always welcoming, very good customer service indeed!

AustraliaUnfortunately the wifi did not work at all during our trip. We had to ask each day for a new wifi code, however we could connect to it and it just wouldn’t work. We ended up using our mobile data instead.
Great location, just a 5 minute drive to downtown Port Vila. Friendly staff, basic but yummy breakfast, comfortable room with great aircon.

Location wise, very secured, and assessable to get public transport, close to town and the main shops. Breakfast was very yummy, my kids loved it, the room is clean and the dinner was just perfect. we enjoyed our stay, and would come back again. Highly recommend for family :)

The location was great. It was 10mins walk from the city market, and there was a supermarket 5mins walk away. Having a washing machine and microwave in the room was also very convenient.

AustraliaCould do with general clean up as looking tired. Pool whilst appearing clean seemed to have an algae growth (possibly) on surface, so did not chance swimming in it.
Walking distance to Port Vila town centre (approx 10 mins) Great for what we needed. I.e. just somewhere to sleep, not a place to just laze by pool resort style. Staff were all friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was OK(toast, cereal,, limited fruit) to get us going but needed more variety
