Check in was confusing. Staff were not able to help or check me in. Busy kitchen/bar seemed vondusing. I had to do it, then I paid for 2 breakfasts. Because it did not recognize my selection.

Nice hotel in the historic site of New Hamburg. beautiful rooms , comfortable beds, bath with tube and whirlpool and douche Delicious breakfast and friendly, helpful people and a really good service. We could use the washing machine. thanks to the Team :)

I did not get a chance to eat the breakfast because they serve it at 8:30 and I had to check out then. I recommend breakfast times begin earlier, like they do in hotels. Although my room was clean, there were several fruit flies flying around. Although my food was flavorful, I thought the portions were tiny.

The location was great, the staff was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The nespresso coffee machine was a nice touch. Dinner was delicious in the restaurant.

The room was large enough to house a queen-sized bed, and that was about all. the bed was super comfortable, but it’s time for the pillows to be replaced. can only imagine how many heads have slept on them. Yuck! the door to the bathroom has lost its pull latch so you can close it, and the toilet flapper needs to be replaced so the toilet will flush properly.

The restaurant was good. menu was interesting and the food was well prepared. The staff were helpful and friendly. We arrived in the middle of an antique car rally and couldn’t get into the hotel parking. when we called the hotel for instructions, Administration came right out to the road to direct us in.

Dinner - food and drink was good - ate outside on a nice covered porch. Music was a nice low volume so you could hear it but still hold a conversation without talking loudly. Tables spaced well - not on top of other diners. Breakfast was also good - ate on the same porch. Located in centre of town so easy to walk around town.

Very warm greeting and good service. Food was exceptional quality, but took some extra time to be served. Coffeemaker in the room is, definitely, a big plus.

I was a little disappointed in the size of the room as it looked larger in the online picture. The room was quite snug and the placement of the bed seemed odd in the room. I don't think I would stay overnight again, simply because we only live 20 min away, but the breakfast was delicious!!

The food was incredible 10 out of 10 ... will definitely come again for dinners!! The spa treatments were also good and the staff made our anniversary even more special by putting us in the same room even though we had different treatments. My husband really enjoyed his massage; I found the facial product a little too harsh for my skin but the service itself was good.

I think we felt there could have been a bit of variety offered in our 3 mornings...perhaps pancakes or french toast or muffins and a different toast offering. Relating to the television entertainment, we wondered if real live television was possible? We had hoped to watch some of the Olympics from Japan.

We enjoyed the 3 breakfasts. The food was cooked as we asked for it and there was plenty to eat. The fresh fruit was delicious, as was the homemade jam.

One night I paid 432 $ including the break first but it was not at all worthy to pay such facility 432 per night two people and one child in a one room

It is a historic site excellent to study about historic community and the facility is decent staff was excellent

Breakfast was good, we were visiting friends in Baden so it was only a 10 minutes drive to Puddicombe House. Very clean facilities, coffee maker in room, their was a wedding going on but you could not hear the wedding party. Very quite due to soundproof rooms.

Booked here because it was a B&B - I asked when we booked at this B&B two weeks in advance for an early breakfast and explained why…did not hear back from the resort so I called on the arrival day to confirm we could have an early breakfast…management did not get back to me. Called again directly to management - the manager called back confirming he had arranged for any early breakfast for us. Arrived at the breakfast room the next morning to no staff, no breakfast. Left with no breakfast. Paid full price ($250 tax included) for a small room and no breakfast

When we arrived, the room wasn’t clean and the AC wasn’t working. We alerted the staff and they had the owner come into the room. The owner was able to fix the AC but was very rude to us. The stay was expensive for what it was, and I was disappointed at the end of the trip with the overall experience.

The bed was very comfortable and the restaurant food was great. We were there for a wedding, so the location was extremely convenient. We had called two nights before our stay and booked an extra night, which was very seamless - the person on the phone was very friendly and able to accommodate our request.

The rooms are tinier in comparison to the photos. The quilt on the bed was dirty and the bed was very uncomfortable. The TV hardly worked. There was no real checkin, no reception area. We had to ask the dining staff for our keys. The worst part of all of this, it is not a safe place to stay overnight, as there is no receptionist, security guard, concierge overnight. We got up to checkout at 7:45am on Sunday morning and there was no one there. We were not sure what to do, so we left the keys in the room and just walked out. The second worst thing is the realization that the hotel door remained unlocked and open the entire night... with no security anyone could have walked right in. Will not recommend this place at all.
