Beatiful room and fascility with splendid view of the mountains. The room and lobby etc. were all clean and organized. Well designed with the canoe touch and liked the atmosphere. Sudden Sully (the restaurant) was pretty good too. On arrival, the hotel staff gave our kids animal puppets, and they were so cute our kids loved it!

Located at the end of the Banff main street, the main area where the shopping can be done etc. is like 20 minutes by walk away. There are buses that you can use for free but they come once every 30-60 minutes so not too convinient. Not a bad walk if it was sunny but the wheather is not always promising so would depend on the wheather.

Loved the fireplace, this place has a lot of character and loved the entire cozy look of it. Loved the back easy access to the lake it was beautiful. Also loved the orange pekoe tea in the room it was perfect!

More options for food, maybe small cafeteria option on site would be great. Everything outside was closed by 7pm even though google showed open upto 8pm but possibly due to off season. We missed having some good coffee and enjoy the lake just like Banff.

Staff kindly allowed the use of the dryer for free for just 2 items. Also staff allowed me the use of a laptop. Staff were nice.

Too much noise. Narrow corridor so could hear other people. And doors closing etc. plus very nearby was a family having an argument. Signage outside did NOT say 'Residence & Conference centre'. said something else, so when arriving late at night it was confusing. Also I phoned before arriving to advise of late arrival but no one called back.Also I could not work the TV. And could NOT adjust the air con, much too warm and I could NOT call reception from the phone inside.....had zero instructions. Also NO kettle, coffee/tea etc. like in other hotels.

We booked a basic room I guess as it was the keenest price, but in checking in you’re told you are up the road and away from the main facility and put in a pretty basic room considering the price. Needs to be better explained and emphasised. We asked to move and were charged another $20.

They were doing construction at the time during the day so it was very noisy. Rooms were not sound proofed very well . Cutlery , coffee cups and cereal bowls were bare minimum for one person I
