These are minor flaws and didn’t take away from the charm of the property. But perhaps it can be fixed. We had 2 rooms. First floor room had a muddy smell in the bathroom and had very high humidity. While the second floor room was dry and had much better circulation. Broken mirror on a closet door is not appropriate for a boutique hotel. Update: I believe I submitted honest review based on my experience with the 2 rooms that I booked. I do not appreciate being contacted privately to modify review to 10 out of 10. First floor room was not like pictures. It was very narrow and the beds were not lined up on the same level - rather, they were put in a row - one closer to the door, second one behind. There was no safe that was mentioned in a description. The second floor room was supplied better, was warmer and had better air circulation. We were told by the front desk staff that if we booked a taxi from Bukhara to Samarqand thru Yandex Taxi - no driver would take us there for the price listed on Yandex, which was around 680 thousand som (under $54 USD). We were 3 adults and one child with 3 small/medium suitcases. He recommended and booked a car for us for 1 mln. som. One suitcase didn't fit in a trunk... Not sure if what he said was true - every single Yandex driver we asked told us that he would happily took us for the price quoted on Yandex Go. In fact, when we were searching for a taxi from Samarqand to Tashkent, which is about about 40 km longer distance, the drivers were competing for us, and we found larger car for only 600 thousand som (about $47 USD).

Location is superb. The hotel was very charming with authentic old-town look and feel - beautiful shady courtyard, antiques doors, colorful traditional pillows and blankets. Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond. Excellent breakfast and as set every morning in a beautiful dining hall. Clean bathrooms.

Bed was a bit too firm for me.

Loved the charm of the property. It’s an old caravansary. Our room was smaller than expected but bathroom was huge. The staff is super friendly and caring. The breakfast was wonderful and plentiful.

A stunning hotel in a painstakingly renovated old house. My single room was spacious and clean and the inner courtyard from which it was accessible was a perfect place to relax in. The breakfast was great, with a big choice of cold and warm dishes. It's located a very short walk from the touristic centre in a quiet area.

Minzifa’s staff helped us to get a transfer from Bukhara to Tashkent when there were no train tickets available and also introduced us to a great guide in Tashkent with whom we went on a wonderful mountain tour Breakfast was delicious Great location in the center of Bukhara close to many sights No city noise, very quiet place (though you peace and quiet also depends on your neighbors, if they are in a festive and loud mood you’ll most probably hear them)

We past two days but we received many attentions from all the components of the staff since the first moment and, to be honest, even before our arrival. The manager gave us support with buying train tickets, finding taxies and guides. We left very early in the morning but they prepared the lunch box for the day. Their hospitality and kindness gave us energies. Totally satisfied.

Great stay at Minzifa! The rooms were beautiful, as was the rest of the hotel, and gave you an immediate feeling of being in old Bukhara. The location is great - easy walking distance to all the sites. The breakfast was great, and the staff were very friendly, offering advice and tips. It is a bit more expensive than other places in Bukhara but well worth the visit. Thanks for a great stay!

My room was next to reception so there was some noise sometimes early in the morning. The room also had some windows high near the ceiling that were not covered so I found it a bit difficult to sleep with light coming in. This wouldn't have been a problem if I had packed ear plugs and an eye mask but unfortunately I forgot these!

The location is very good. Very close to the ancient city. This is a traditional courtyard hotel. The bathroom is large and the bedroom is a bit small. The waiters are very enthusiastic and will actively help you solve your problems. The breakfast quality is also good, but the variety is not very rich. Overall, it's worth staying.
