I loved it!

The room was spacious, clean, quiet and had a magnificent view of a lovely lake. The room was bright and cheerful and had high speed internet. We could hear loons calling, spring peepers and an early cricket. The staff was quick, friendly and attentive. This place is an absolute jewel! Hard to believe, but it’s inexpensive, too!

There was nothing we missed or would need improved Even some little “deficiencies” add some charm for outdoor lovers.

There is no food available at the location. Cafe maker in the room. Location is beautiful and peaceful. Room spacious and comfortable. Bathroom well equipped. I would highly recommend for mature people as the lake nearby, facilities and the view are beautiful but not good for little children to play.

A simple, quaint cabin that was immaculately clean and fresh-a hidden gem in Barry's Bay for sure! I definitely would return and recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful getaway. The view of the lake from our room was stunning-and the night swim was very refreshing!

The only negative was that the dock has a sway that increases as you go further out. I only went to the end once and that was enough excitement for me!

I liked pretty much everything. Self check-in and out...no hassles. Room was well stocked with coffe/tea and all expected things: extra pillows, blankets, lots of hot water. The place was peaceful. I shared the quiet with a couple of loons who appear to own the lake.

I could hear a bit of noise through the walls....of people speaking. I could not hear what they said, just could hear the voice noise.

I liked the tranquility of the location. A great place to get away from the bustle of the city.

The pullout sofa worked well for the kids, but would be very uncomfortable for most adults.

Gorgeous location. We went swimming and fished in the lake. The room is big, bright and clean. The queen bed was very comfortable. Excellent value for money.

Remove any mention of a restaurant or breakfast on all web sites as it doesn't exist. Not sure where it ever did.

No breakfast to speak of. No main building or facilities of any kind outside of the lone peddleboat. In fact didn't encounter any staff on the premises whatsoever. Room was perfect and clean and location is great. As no frills as it gets but enough for a place to lay your head on a motorcycle trip.

The overall experience at this place was truly delightful. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a sense of tranquility that immediately put us at ease. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and the vaulted ceilings added a touch of elegance, making the space feel even more welcoming. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view from our room. Overlooking a small private lake, we were treated to picturesque scenes that seemed straight out of a postcard. The peacefulness and serenity that emanated from this setting were simply unparalleled. The convenience of having only three rooms meant that we had ample privacy and could fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of the surroundings. Each morning, we woke up to the gentle sound of birds chirping — a perfect start to our day.

The host was very responsive and went above and beyond resolved our issues immediately. We needed a lighter for the bbq grill and she sent someone to get it for us. The location and view was great!
