  • Sabai Sabai Backpackers Hostel Review score: 8.5

“Dorm with 4 beds felt spacious. Nice mattress and I liked the locker above the bed. Warm shower and good aircon and fan. Met some really nice people there. I would describe the vibe as easygoing and social if you're looking for that. Good breakfast: try the pancake, it's so fluffy and big!”

  • “Location of the hotel is near the city center, market and restaurants.”

  • On The Mekong Resort Review score: 9.6

“If I could give this resort 100 stars I would. It is amazing, the peaceful surroundings, views, the log cabins, decor, the food (thank you Grace & Co.!), the staff..I could go on. We had the best time here. They offer a free shuttle into the town once a day too which was an added bonus! Pool is under construction at the moment, but didn't hinder us at all. Can't wait to go back!”

  • Siridel Luang Prabang Review score: 8.5

“Wery close to city centre. Charming neighbourhood with narrow streets. Close to the Mekong and the restaurants alongside the river. Close to nightmarket. Wery good price. (26usd) and serviceminded staff. Breakfast restaurant just 50.meter up the street with good options.”

  • “Very kind, accommodating, english speaking staff. In my case, there was this Korean guy, who I just tried to help, but suddenly followed me all the way to where I my accommodation which I was very scared. He even insisted on staying at the same accommodatio . The moment I arrived I told the receptionist right away what was happening and pleaded to make sure his room was far from mine, and they made sure it was done. They made sure we don't cross each other's path. The next day the Korean guy was throwing a fist at the receptionist about it. I was so moved that the staff protected me, which made the guy eventually check out and leave. I was almost crying in relief. I'm a female solo traveller and my security mattered so much to me, Villa Thavisouk made sure I was safe and okay. I will definitely stay with them again when I go back.”
