They charge 3% fee to pay eith credit card which they never mention when booking. The rest was excellent. Nothing to comment.

Perfect stay in Luang Prabang! Super friendly and helpful Host Thy an his staff made our stay unforgettable. We had a super nice and clean bungalow in the middle of a green garden. Location perfect - you can walk 25 mins to old town or use the provided shuttle that drives 3 times in the morning and 3 times in the evening for free!

Nothing! The shuttle into town makes up for the distance but if you love to walk like I do, its a mere 15-20 minute walk into the center.

Food always delivered to the room on time and tasked great! Pictures don't do this space justice. It is beautiful.

It was perfect with attention to detail. The manager is so attentive and gives precise advice and recommendations. The breakfast was out of this world and is served at our rooms with view.

Massive spider in the room but the owner came and removed it immediately and check all the rest of the room for us.

Really great stay here. The staff are so helpful and lovely will help with anything. The rooms are beautiful overlooking the river. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here 5 years ago and had a great experience which is why we came back. Glad to say nothing has changed . Aĺl the same staff are still here and the place is still beautiful. Everybody here are exceptionally friendly and helpful and was a joy to be here over the New year's celebrations. Will definitely be back again.

Slippery bathroom floor. Manager frequently smoking around the reception. Bit far walking distance from sights and restaurants.

I liked it so well I stayed twice. I preferred the river view rooms to watch the people passing by. Large room. Super kind staff. No dining room so food is delivered to your porch making for a lovely setting.

There could be an extra shuttle bus time added for going to the city centre and back in the middle of the day. Other than that nothing to add. It was definitely one of the best choices we had made during our 1 month travel in Vietnam and Laos

Amazing place to stay. Imagine a bungalow in a beautiful garden and breakfast served directly at the table on the balcony of it. A shuttle bus to the city centre is a plus. The swimming pool is beautiful. Meal is available to order in bungalow and is very delicious. The place is more appropriate for people who prefer to relax rather than having a night life in the centre of the city. The receptionist was very helpful - he gave a map of the city, tips of how to get the best deals, helped to buy high-speed train tickets, etc.

Nothing, It's a 25 minute walk to town, but they run a free shuttle van several times a day and I think they offer free bikes as well. I liked the walk :)

Everything about this guesthouse is thought over and just perfect I have to say. The beautiful rooms, the breakfast every moning on your terrace, the shuttle service to and from town, and most of all the hospitality of the owners. The owner most of the time knew exactly what I wanted before I even said it out loud. Six nights in paradise as far as I'm concerned. Would love to go back there! Tip: have dinner at their lovely terrace at the river. You can see mount Phou Si from there. I didn't know it was there until the end of my stay (my mistake, the owner told me about it). Most beautiful sunset of my trip!

It would be nice if the pool would be open after 19:00, so you could have a swim when you come back from town.

We loved staying at Thong Bay Guesthouse. It is beautifully located at one of the tributaries of the Mekong, 10 min by TukTuk from the centre of town. Thy and his team have great attention to detail. We especially loved the wonderful breakfast served on the private balcony of our cabin every day.

We really loved Thongbay Guesthouse! The cabins are very cosy and we had the best view of the river from our balcony. The owners are lovely and super helpful, and their tips to get around and see the most interesting things are priceless. The included breakfast is amazing, but you should also try to have lunch or dinner there as it is absolutely delicious!

Situated along the river, in a very beautiful and quiet garden. The bungalow had a nice terrace, they bring the breakfast there. It’s a bit far to the center, but the shuttle service compensated this.

Thongbay exceeded our expectations, beautiful gardens, spacious bungalows and the best breakfasts we had during our trip through Laos. Mr T and Kai were fantastic hosts, we shared beers with Kai and her team on International Women's Day which was a real privilege, they work so hard and are a brilliant team. Luang Prabang centre is about 20 minutes walking from the hotel and was perfect for us, there is also the free mini bus to the hotel runs three times in the morning and three times in the evening if you don't want to walk but for us walking through the town is part of the fun. There are several lovely seating areas in the grounds, we enjoyed playing board games on the veranda overlooking the river. We really did love Thongbay!

Only a couple of minor complaints if you can call them that. That was the lighting in the room. Sometimes I like to read before I sleep but found it a struggle. Also having to order breakfast the day before. the breakfast was very enjoyable the one time I had it. But I don't eat very much or often in a morning.

The bungalow was very clean comfortable and I loved the terrace outside the bungalow. The garden outside was great. The staff were fantastic. . Although it was a bit far away from the centre. There was a free minivan ride to and from the centre and also free pickup and drop off at the airport. I'd stay there again if I ever return
