It is a great location for doing things in Vientiane. Nearby there are lots of party place and things to buy, if you are here for a short time. Facilities in the room are limited for computer based business (table very small), but you can use their restaurant during the day or any of the many nearby coffee shops. The hot water system is not very good, but as it is almost always warm in Vientiane it is not a big problem. All the staff speaks English to some degree and all are extremely helpful and try their best to help you. Very friendly staff and just outside the door is a "tok-tuc manager" that speaks English who will help you get a tok-tuc to wherever you want to go. The hotel has a travel service to all the major attractions in and around Vientiane. They can also help you almost any other travel request you have. The key in Lao is patience and everything will happen.

Dorm with 4 beds felt spacious. Nice mattress and I liked the locker above the bed. Warm shower and good aircon and fan. Met some really nice people there. I would describe the vibe as easygoing and social if you're looking for that. Good breakfast: try the pancake, it's so fluffy and big!

I think some rooms might look a bit different as in the pictures. The rooms are convenient but not cozy or a warm atmosphere, but to me that was okay for this price.

A part of the road to this guesthouse is very dark in the evening. I think there is generally not much light in this town, but take care.

My room was next to reception & i heard talking through the thin walls until 2:00am, also someone dragging furniture above me constantly. Did not get any sleep. Probably I drew the short straw and got the worst room in the building. Shower head spraying water everywhere so had to be held by one hand. Really needs an upgrade.
