How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No restaurant and hotel made no effort to provide any tea or coffee for breakfast. There is no outside restaurant nearby to walk to for breakfast. Staff know this, but made no pro-active suggestions to help. Extractor fan in bathroom is hurricane force and very noisy. A very disappointing experience.

The mattresses were the worst mattresses I've ever slept on in any hotel,, they felt like sleeping on the floor,, they were so hard that after the first night we moved out.
It had a sophisticated bathroom with warm toilet seats and illuminated hand washing sink. The room was spacefull and had a sofa that could be used as a bed. And the staff were ver attentive, excellent.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable and the hallway on 3rd floor smelled like a dirty diaper. It would have been nice ot have a coffee service. Several of the electrical outlets did not work so it was difficult to charge our devices.
Staff was extremely nice and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us. Very new bathroom facilities were good.

There's nothing I didn't like.. Except for the occasional times I called from the room or from my phone at certain times, there was no answer.
I.. Always Stay and ask for the same room as it is My Favorite Room.. However, I think they moved the closet to accommodate other guests' usage.. But.. I liked it at the end underneath the air con.

There was no room for improvements!
I had a 26 hour layover in Guam after leaving Saipan, so this wasn't a planned visit. The suite was exceptional, tastefully designed and decorated and everything looked new. This was a very comfortable place to ride out my layover. I did explore the surroundings but there were no sidewalks in this area, so I didn't stray too far. There were shops within walking distance to buy meals and snacks. The staff were very helpful and allowed me to check-in early without an additional charge.

No restaurant (closed), and only one small cafe local (food was very ordinary). No airport shuttle, so cabs in and out cost $40. Staff unsympathetic. Not a good experience.
The bathroom was modern.

The beds were so hard that it hurt to sleep on my side. As a side sleeper this ruined my sleep and hurt my hips. I have never experienced such hard beds in a hotel. The management response was that the beds were all new and hard beds had been chosen because there had been too many complaints about beds being too soft! Hey, guys, there's a middle ground that will please most of the people most of the time! We are locals and we usually use Guam Plaza Resort & Spa. Same price, very comfy beds, at the other end of Tumon Bay. We tried this one this time for location; never again!

The room I stayed in was renovated compared to my last stay. The room is clean and well-maintained. Staff are amiable and approachable. The location is close to different shopping centers/boutiques, and convenience stores.

I only stayed two nights and crashed as soon as I checked in the first night. It was only during day two that I noticed cockroaches everywhere. I probably killed 7-8 cockroaches before I checked out, one of which I found in my bed. Had I been staying longer I definitely would have requested another room, although I'm not sure if that would have made a difference. If it hadn't been for the cockroaches I would have easily considered the price and accommodation worth it.

The bed is so hard that I had a backache that lasted during the whole stay. When I complained they said they are new beds. The headboard needs to be wiped down as it had someone's mess on it and the bathroom had the last guests pills on the floor.
Ainee... she greets you as sokn as you walk in the lobby.
