Paradise Cave Hostel really does it better than most hotels! You have every ameneties, couple of bathrooms/toilets, spacious kitchen for comfort, and! You get to experience that comfy, homely, social atmosphere the place and the staff is spreading! I really can just tell wonders about everyone working there, so friendly, helpful, awesome staff! Everything went butter-smoothly, we had a fantastic time there. Breakfast was more than expected, perfectly enough to start the day. And the legends are real, the lamb soup is a must try in the evening, they perfected it! :) Thank you for the experience!

Maybe the only-only thing I can mention here is the lack of table+chairs in the room to eat privately and be able to store some stuff on the table, but we managed well without it too!

Location is excellent! Near everything you need, walking or by car. Although there's no free parking around you can just pay the hours you park (you only pay between 10 and 16 HS , on weekdays) is not that expensive. On the streets or in the parking areas. Easy self check in and out . Good to have courtesy coffee and kettle for tea.

A little bit narrow the stairs, and the walls are thin, you could hear everything from the next room. We stayed for 4 nights and had no room cleaning any day.

This is a great choice when travelling to Reykjavik. We were staying only two nights during our stopover between flights and location was excellent. We managed to park the car in the garage both nights. Once we walked to city center. Breakfast was great! Clean facilities.

The check-in went very smoothly, they must have tremendous experience because the 4 rooms in the house change their guests nearly every night. At the price point it was perfect, perfect location, just enough space for everything, just enough silverware etc...

Even though we knew where we would stay and there was nothing we couldn't solve, still the one bathroom/kitchen did trick us. Also, that was the guests' doing, but cleanliness was not a highlight of the accommodation.

Breakfast was great, room and privacy were great. Loved the hot tub and overall vibe. Loved the location for driving the Golden Circle. In three countries on our trip, this was our favorite stay.

It is on a busy street but the price is right for that city and it is a nice walk to restaurants and sites. Our room was cozy and I loved the view from the back window/balcony.

Breakfast was adequate but located in an odd place, the basement kitchen and there were very small amounts of some of the items. Our room had a strong odor of food left behind from the last guests.

Packed and noisy breakfast room, with much of a standard breakfast buffet . Obviously very popular amongst tour operators Room itself pretty basic! All walls in the hotel painted in grey ( making everything look dark and small ) Pictures of the hotel from the 50th, which gives the hotel a bid of an old fashion touch. No elevators

The house is small, the furnishings are old and the price paid is far too high, even by Icelandic standards. Profit is the main focus here. The corner of the roof is dangerous when you go to or from the house, it is at head height and the risk of injury is very high. This corner should be made safe as soon as possible.
