There isn’t a way to load or unload the car if it’s pouring rain. There is a long exterior walkway to to parking.

The breakfast was yummy, the views were beautiful! The hotel bar area and dining are were beautiful. Would stay here again.

Fantastic relatively new hotel with a gastronomic restaurant. Great views out of the windows, nice activities room for rainy days. Definitely recommended!

There was no cut in curbing to roll luggage in. The Receptionist was great but the bartender was horrible. He was flippant and the northern lights happened to appear, so a few of us went outside and left our beverages. Upon return minutes after closing, he refused to even sell a bottle to go.

Not one thing!

First, it was beautiful with lovely views of the mountains. The service was outstanding, from check-in to the bar and restaurant. Just top notch. Beds were comfortable. Location was perfect. And when it rained and we did not feel like going out, we had everything we needed at the hotel, including a fabulous restaurant, quaint bar and great game room and tv area. We hated leaving.

I’m not complaining…the least favorite part of the stay was the walk with luggage from the parking lot to the hotel.

Hotel Kria was absolutely fantastic. It was EVERYTHING I hope for in a hotel. The staff…kind, accommodating, and experienced. Elena (sp?) at the desk, Phillip at the bar, and Sorran (sp?) in the restaurant made our stay over the top. They were super friendly and did their job well. In short, the hotel is beautiful and that’s great….but the staff made it feel like home. We loved our stay and will ALWAYS stay here when in Vik.

I think there should be a mini bar in every room because if you need to storage food or beverage you dont have a place to do it. Everything else great!

They upgraded our room to mountain view which is always nice. I was very happy with the choice. Hotel along route 1 and was sunny longer than the others located before in town. Very modern, quiet and close to beach.

The shower was terribly weak and the room was too warm. Heat was already turned off and opening the window wasn’t an option overnight since it was facing a busy road where early morning traffic would have woken us up. WiFi was also weak.

The location was great and the hotel was modern and clean. The included breakfast was good but not quite great.

I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone visiting Iceland and driving up the coast. The hotel room was wonderful, staff were very accommodating, and the restaurant was great! I traveled with my mom and the room was perfect for two people.

The hotel was beautiful. Breakfast was great! I really liked the rooms. I had a beautiful view of the mountains. The best part was that they had a Northern Lights wake-up call and I was able to see them.

If I could have driven up to the door to off load our luggage rather than having to carry it from the car park that would have been helpful.

We loved the breakfast room with its huge mountain views and with one glass wall facing down the coast. The food was very good too. Our room was very well prepared and we had a very good nights sleep. Next time I might book a Mountain facing room as I think that view is better.
