Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

IrelandThe property is tired. it badly needs an update. The bedroom was poor and outdated with a very musty smell. it hadn’t been cleaned properly when we arrived with food particles on the floor and insects around it. It was dealt with immediately when we told the front desk. However the musty smell remained. For the price I would have expected better.
The location was lovely with direct access to the beach and the view was beautiful.

United KingdomWe went to Pompano because the reviews of the food were so good. But we were disappointed. Consistency on dinner was very hit and miss. A great Caesar salad or fresh tuna starter followed by an inedible, tough steak and undercooked potatoes for example. The food felt like it was being cooked in a production line, some dishes showed little care others were great. Service was super quick, lovely staff, so super efficient that we had 4 courses in 40 mins, which isn’t really a relaxed evenings dining. A lot of the food came with cream sauces, seemed old fashioned and lacked spice and excitement. I’m not sure why one restaurant gave you a wine list and the other didn’t… Breakfast was to a similar formula. The lunches were great! I’m guessing because they were cooked to order. Lovely salads!
The staff were very friendly and always there to help. We also loved the location, views were beautiful.

United StatesBIGGEST PROBLEM was the constant presence of local birds flying in and outside dining areas, including 3 days when buffet service was offered. Management disclosed that their AC was out, so they had to open all windows & doors in dining areas--which the birds flew in and out while customers were eating. This could be both a health and sanitation issue. In the deluxe room, flying cockroaches were found in room 2-3 days of our visit. Management came and sprayed and did offer some goodwill $ credits for the inconvenience. Tall grass were outside the balcony and need cutting; room furniture needs updating. Management did not disclose that 10% or room charges were due to gratuities for all staff, but listed those charges incorrectly as service charges -rooms. Public relations short cummings--Resort management failed to mentioned that we were celebrating our 55th wedding anniversary at their resort, neither offered any special drinks, etc.
The resort had three dining areas, 1 for lunch & 2 for dinner. Food quality was very good. Overall staff was exceptional, & customer oriented, especially the managers. Transportation was great & dependable. Water sports and recreational services were good. Evening entertainment was adequate to good on some evenings. Flat screen TV was good & clear. Deluxe bathroom was sizeable.
