Beautifully designed and maintained boutique hotel; feels like a sophisticated private home. Wonderful host. To give an example of the level of service, my suitcase had been damaged during transit. The hotel was able to fix it and return it to me within 30 minutes of arrival. Exceptional!

The additional bed in the family room was a little narrow and likely more suitable for a smaller child. The round mosquite net with a small ring at the top makes it hard to sleep under the net and not get tangled in it over the course of a night's sleep.

It is a beautiful property, with well thought out touches that made you feel like the hotel was exclusively your own. The family room had a sea view and took up the whole top balcony. The staff and team behind the scenes were all so friendly and wonderful with their care and coordination of activities for us. Loved the resident dogs too!

It was a wonderful stay at an beautiful small boutique hotel. Elga and the whole Team were simply amazing. Located literally on the beach the most difficult question was rather to enjoy the pool or the beach. The Team around the kitchen were super friendly and provided always delicious food. As well we can highly recommend the cooking class with the Team, simply fun and a good activity to learn more about local food.

The only thing we can think of is the shower; at times a very low water pressure. But no big deal for us.

Uzuri is in one word amazing. Its location is very good. Directly at the beach. The house itself has a lot of character. Beautiful garden; nice pool. Very friendly and helpful staf. Great breakfast and very good food. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Uzuri. Thanks Elga for having us; and thanks to your staf.

I didn't really mind that myself but it crossed my mind that it might not be the best choice if you feel uncomfortable with dogs- there are 2 of them walking freely everywhere

The place was amazing, lots of greenery from the beach side and a beautiful garden from the other. The pool was very nicely constructed and clean. The staff was nice!

We had a wonderful time at Uzuri. It has a relaxed atmosphere, with super friendly staff and great food (especially the Fish Burger). We stayed in the suite facing the pool. My son had so much fun with the sand, the pool, and of course Ginger and Dragon. We will definitely be back and recommend the place to our friends.

Uzuri is little heaven on earth you will feel like home we really loved our stay in this hotel the room is beautiful really well decorated the staff is amazing always smiling Olga,Happy, Jacqueline,Grace and the all the staff are always smiling and welcoming. we felt at home. the food is really good,Liliane is the best Massage Lady the swimming pool always clean and nice with sand around just by the beach do not hesitate to stay there! we can’t wait to go Back! thanks you again to everybody we miss you Romane and Chloé

Beautiful and small hotel right by the beach and near the village. Amazing host and staff! We felt like living with friends. The room was lovely, big, beautifully designed and very comfortable. The pool was fantastic and super clean. We also liked the delicious breakfast and the food in general. Absolutely brilliant stay! Thank you Elga, Calista, Jessica, Cecilia and all the other beautiful people for looking after us so well. We had a superb stay at Uzuri villa!!! :-) <3

if you’re looking for a laidback vibe, amazing people and comfortable place in Zanzibar. This is it! it has direct beach access, a nice pool and probably some of the best food / breakfast. They have an amazing massage service too which I would highly recommend. The people that work there are absolutely amazing too! we loved our time there and can’t wait to go back one day.

great quiet boutique hotel with very nice staff and great location. The tide on the beach was no problems at all as we enjoyed a walk to the blue water in about 20min at low tide, and could swim easily when high. Prices were very good and the hotel offers great value for money, charm and a nice homey atmosphere that we loved. we had an incredible stay, were able to fully relax and recharge and were pleased by the full team - in particular Happy always doing her best to make our stay magical! Recommend 100%.

We spent 3 nights at the Uzuri Villa. We felt like at home. The place is absolutely amazing, just on a very nice and quiet beach. The Garden and the swimming poll are wonderful. We really enjoyed every single moment. The staff and the food are amazing as well.

We loved everything.

Uzuri Villa is a beautiful and peaceful small hotel by the beach in Jambiani. We spent three lovely days there. The staff was really nice, we loved the decoration, the comfort of the room, and the pool was a blessing. The breakfast was really good as well. On the last day, we had the surprise to have the visit of small monkeys in the garden; so cute!

Our stay at Uzuri Villa was amazing. The Villa has an incredibile atmosphere: rooms are cozy and spacious, the swimming pool is wonderful and makes it is possible to relax under palmas, just in front of the sea. The staff is incredibly kind and always available. The food is excellent and a chef is available at any time, from breakfast until dinner. In short: Uzuri Villa is the perfect place for relaxing and visiting the east and south of Zanzibar.

Our room in particular was a bit dark and noisy, just by the entrance. A few times other guests though it was the door to the lobby bathroom and tried to open it - a sign with a room number, for example, would fix this.

Beautiful, small property. Really nicely decorated, and very well kept. The pool area was gorgeous and very relaxing. The staff were super kind, and they sang me the most enthusiastic happy birthday ever. They gave us early check-in and late check-out, even though we didn’t even request it.

EVERYTHING ! The staff is so nice and so helpful and caring The hotel is one of the most beautiful boutique hotel I ever visited, super charming, luxurious flora, beautiful pool area next to the beach, charming rooms and amazing decorations/furniture. And the food is AMAZING ! I had the grilled octopus and some local specialities, best food I had during my trip in Zanzibar it's worst coming to this place just for the food ! Good wifi, great facilities, it's just perfect. I'll come back for sure !

The hotel is spacious and private. The hostess, Elga, is very approachable, friendly and helpful (she speaks english, italian and swahili). The waitresses Mary and Grace were very polite and accomodating. The pool area is amazing: quiet, surrounded by trees and various plants that also givesshelter from the burning sun. Everything is well maintained (pool is clean and the ground is raked every morning from debris). The place felt safe and relaxing. Breakfast had many different options and was tasty. The beach is connected to the hotel via a wooden fence and it looked clean. Rooms are nice, neatly cleaned every morning and room service even covers the bed with bug nets every night just in case, tho we didn’t see or hear any bugs in the room. Dragon the german shepard was cute and likes being scratched. You can also have the staff book you all kind of different trips/excursions/massages etc. We were really lucky to have found this place and were sad to leave. Totally recommend this place. Aitäh!
