The location was fantastic as very close to everything. The whole building was very unique and we stayed in the ground floor single rooms and they were really delightful. Also, a sensational breakfast. Lots of variety and was set in the courtyard which was lovely. The omelette was the best.

    Nothing bad to say!

Great little hotel! The breakfast was tasty and always a new food included. I also loved the interior design, it was great and fit the desert vibe. The room was comfortable, had TV, air conditioning, etc. and a fridge. Location was nice, very close to the historic centre.

Beautiful historic hotel with all the modern comforts. The breakfast is excellent and the best food we have eaten in Uzbekistan. The staff were very helpful in assisting with onward travel bookings. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Nothing

Breakfast was varied and original. Served with care. The hotel manager, I think Akmal is his name, is very helpful and resourceful. I had an accident the day before I arrived. The next morning, he called up a cab for me and explained the situation to him as English is not spoken much around here, then he put me in the taxi and sent me to the hospital where I had x-rays and medicine, then the same cab brought me back. Never seen such customer dedication. Also, I read some reviews mentioning that the rooms had no windows. Let me tell you, it's one of the highlights of the rooms. It has that austere feel of a madrassa and it feels real. Also, just outside the rooms, they have a great setup for lounging with a book and a cup of tea.

I think that the neighbours dog is kept in captivity and the owner does not seem to reside on the premises. The poor dog barks at night and there is nothing no-one can do about😥

Perfectly located …too good for the solo travellers. The rooms are small but very cosy and comfortable, and takes you to the Olsen times. The keeper Akmal is wonderful guy and takes good care of the guests. Very well maintained and functional facilities. Most rooms have only small ventilation though I got a room with a good window overlooking g the Main Street. Strongly recommended if you’re travelling alone.

All was positive, maybe the breakfast aclittle limited in variety but fine overall. Be careful with the low doors of the rooms as you may hit your head!

The madrassa in which the hotel is located is an amazing example of the old architecture of the region. Very nicely and comfortably remodelled it offers a pleasant stay to the traveller. Not in the city center itself but very close following straight the avenue. Hosts are helpful and respectfull all the times, which we valued.

Probably the coolest hotel I've ever stayed at. It's beautiful, cozy, and in a great part of town. The man that works there was so kind and told us the history of the place as well. Breakfast was also 10/10.

The property is beautiful and looks exactly like the photos. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I think it is really good value for money. Location is great and is walking distance from lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. Breakfast is brilliant and is different every day. They even packed me a picnic for my last day as I had to take an early train ❤️

This is not a 5-star Hotel in terms of spacious rooms and furniture, but it is not intended to be - if you like special places, Amulet is a great choice.

Great small authentic hotel very close to the centre. Lots of cozy small things around Convenient room with air conditioner, heater, bathroom. Good comfortable bed. Stable WiFi. Tea is available anytime I was the only guest in December but staff was super attentive and helpful. They made nice breakfast specially for me - eggs, sandwiches, coffee&dessert, different jams - enough for half of the day. .

A Dream Stay at Amulet Hotel - Uzbekistan’s Hidden Gem
    • Leisure trip

Staying at Amulet Hotel was an essential and unforgettable part of our journey. Sleeping in a beautifully converted madrasah, this hotel offers a unique experience that is hard to find elsewhere. The beauty and charm of Amulet Hotel are immediately apparent. The entire team goes above and beyond to make your stay special. The Uzbek breakfast served here deserves a special mention for its exceptional quality and variety. Located just a 10-minute walk from the center of Bukhara, the hotel’s location is as convenient as it is charming. The hotel itself is extraordinary, differing vastly from any other hotel we’ve known. The rooms, arranged around a courtyard in this ancient madrasah, are small but equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The decor is tasteful and adds to the overall experience. The breakfast is spectacular, and the staff's attention to detail is exquisite. It's just a step away from the main square, placing you right in the heart of the city.
