The reception area is tucked away in the rear of the entrance hall, and the check-in process could be significantly improved for a smoother and faster experience. There were issues with the pin machine, and the absence of welcome drinks, which one would typically expect at a 5-star hotel, was disappointing. Additionally, the swimming pool did not meet expectations for a hotel of this caliber; it could certainly be improved. The prices for cocktails at the bar were excessively high.

The swimming pool has a good view but the water quality is not that good. There are lots of small impurities and bits in the water. I expect a much cleaner water for a hotel of this standard. I requested twice for more teabags from the QR Code/digital concierge but no response. A bit disappointing.

Staff services are exceptional, polite and comfortable. Special praise to Amos at Front Desk who serves with a smile and courtesy.

Pillows were huge - so much so that they were really uncomfortable to sleep with. Would have been nice to have a more personalized check-in with an explanation of the rooms features. It took us a while to figure out how things worked on our own.

The location is second to none, right on marina bay and steps from the merlion. We walked everywhere which was great. Everywhere we went at the hotel (Jade, Red Latern, front desk) service was impeccable. Yum cha at Jade was very special and delicious, with many Singaporean families cerebrating special occasions, a great staff who explained the dishes for us and an amazing chef who elevated each dish. The red lantern was a great place for viewing the marina bay light show over a (very expensive) delicious take on the Sling (Fullerton’s version).

The breakfast whilst large, was the same offering everyday. There was very little for vegetarians and vegans, which we raised on our second day, so the chef did prepare us some breakfast on day 3 on request which was nice, but heavy full-indian food. For a 5* hotel, one would expect better breakfast options, such as scrambled tofu, or other options. The hotel was also full of visitors to the Taylor Swift concert- who made so much noise in the afternoons/ early mornings and disturbed our sleep that I had to complain to the front desk. When challenged, they said they were 'registered customers' and apologised, but I had to push for more security by our rooms/ more staff patrols. This was disappointing. I also checked in on my birthday and there was no acknowledgement of this or gesture as other hotels have done in the past, which was again very disappointing. Personally, I felt the Taylor Swift fans had more attention than other patrons, who paid significant money to stay at the hotel for a special occasion.

The location of the hotel is excellent, Suju the doorman greeted us with the most warm friendly smile and greeted us everyday with good local tips and conversation. The check-in was seamless, our rooms were comfortable and the facilities and general atmosphere was pleasant.

The Room we booked was great but there an issue with bugs. You can tell this not the norm in this hotel so The team immediately rectified it upgraded us to luxurious room overlooking the marina bay sands.

Our Heritage room, despite being not the cheapest room available, had a walled-off terrace and no therefore no view at all. Breakfasts could have been priced more reasonably as buying them at the current price makes no sense.

Amazing 5* hotel. Architecturally flawless, beautifully decorated and conveniently located. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The swimming pool is nice and not crowded. What is even more important, The Fullerton is one of the very few hotels where you may truly feel that Singapore has its own history and soul beyond steel-and-glass skyscrapers and illuminated streets.

LOVED TO TOTAL EXPERIENCE

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO HAVE A SMALL BREAKFAST IN THE DINNING ROOM. SIMPLE OPTION AS A CROISSANT WITH A COFFEE AS I AM NOT INTERESTED IN A BUFFET. WE DID HAVE AN AL A CARTE OPTION BUT DIDNT EAT MUCH.
