“Talaat was really friendly and helpful. Located on the very quite and beautiful part of Elephantine island, perfect to explore the island and to do Felucca sails at sunset. 10minutes walk to the ferry.”

Cleaning of commune area ok The view is ok, see the nile but also all the under construction / chaos of the area. So from the comments I was expecting a better one to be honest”

  • Nubian palace Review score: 10

“The Nubian palace is the most friendly place we have stayed in Egypt over the past two weeks, the airport transfer was very helpful, the grilled chicken was very very delicious. The room was clean with strong air conditioning, the breakfast was also nice. On the day of check-out, the driver brought us sugar cane juice on the way to the Nile Cruise. Really grateful for that. So I would strongly recommend Nubian palace, so nice, so friendly and so helpful.”

“My wife and I stayed two nights in this beautiful hotel and wished we would have stayed longer. The hotel owner (Tamer) and his nephew (Mo) made us feel at home, helping us organising trips at very fair prices and preparing delicious breakfast and dinner every day. The hotel is located in a Nubian village, on the West Bank of the Nile. You can get there very easily for 10 EGP per person with the public ferry. The atmosphere in the hotel and the village is very relaxed, which we absolutely loved after coming from very busy cities like Cairo and Alexandria. One of our highlights was the morning run + swim in the Nile that we did with Mo, who showed us the best spots in the village and in Aswan. We will definitely come back to visit these guys who became our family for some days”

  • The Mango Guest House Review score: 10

“Its a super lovely place, way better than the pictures. The personal is amazing, friendly, kind and always ready to help with a smile (special mention for Ibrahim, Mohamed and Ahmad). Its EXTREMELY clean, the cleanest place I have been in Egypt so far. I will definitely repeat it and Aswan best place in Egypt. Thank you all”

  • Baba Dool Review score: 10
