“The place was larger than it looked in the photos, it had everything you could need. It was comfortable and very clean with plenty of firewood to keep you warm. Hosts were nice and will come get the fireplace ready and do some tidying while you are out. The house is situated on a farm property, so there are some houses and farm buildings on one side and on the other is a nice view of a large open field. My suggestion would be some better window blinds for privacy downstairs and better blinds for blocking light upstairs. While it was still cosy and we had a great time, this place is probably better suited for families rather than a romantic getaway. Definitely excellent value for money. Oh and it's just a few mins away from Cesvaine, which is convenient. Overall, a great place and one of the best value stays I have come across in Latvia in terms of comfort, facilities and cost per night. Thank you for a lovely time!”
