Positive section of review
The location of the hotel is unbeatable: it is ideal for an overnight stay near the airport (2 minutes on foot) if you have an early morning flight. The bed is super comfy and the bedsheets immaculately clean and of good quality. The hot water pressure is great. There is a fridge in the room and a kettle. You can hear planes and cars with the window open but the noise level is greatly reduced when you shut the window.

1) INCOMPETENT RECEPTION LADY ON DUTY ON 2 JUNE The reception lady on duty in the afternoon on 2 June and in the early morning of 3 June was incredibly incompetent, surly and ill-disposed. I had specifically booked a room with a proper double bed with a one-peace broad mattress. I had phoned the hotel on 25 April at 11.16 am Riga time to make sure such a room would be available, and had got, during that phone call, the confirmation from a very pleasant and competent staff member, who had even gone to the length of actually going to check the bed while I was on hold. Upon my arrival on 2 June just before 2pm, the reception lady insisted that the hotel only had single beds pushed together and covered by one sheet to make them look like double beds. She was adamant this was what a double room meant, that I had booked such a room and that there was no alternative to that. My day was saved by the charming cleaning lady who happened to be nearby and who proved her colleague wrong. She was happy to show me a room with a proper double bed, and this was the room I had been allocated. No apology from the reception lady, whose attitude is unforgivable. She said 2 June was her first working day in that hotel. The management could provide training to the receptionists and make sure they know the categories and characteristics of the rooms. 2) NO INSTANT COFFEE There is a kettle in the room, with two teabags and sachets of sugar. With people catching early morning flights, one would expect a sachet of instant coffee. This is all the more irritating and absurd that you miss breakfast if your flight leaves early. 3) NO BREAKFAST UNTIL AT 7.30 AM With most guests catching early flights, it would make sense to offer breakfast starting at 6 am, or at 6.30 am at the very latest. At least coffee could be provided. 4) WINDOW The ground floor window overlooks the pavement and is so low anyone can walk in when it is open. Could window bars be envisaged for more safety?

Beautiful place, nice apartment, there is everything you need, sauna is a bonus,we enjoyed so much. Good location as well, just 5 minutes from beach. Highly recommend.

The hotel is very neat and refined. Peronal is very responsive, the location is perfect. But we were very surprised and disappointed by the hotel room.

We stayed in a junior suite, which was relatively very expensive. The view out of the window was of the courtyard, where we could see the work of the opposite office a few metres away. Our bedroom was separated from the bedroom in the next room by JUST ONE ORDINARY DOOR, which had absolutely no insulation. You could hear the neighbor in bed turning on his other side! It was like sleeping in a hostel, or even worse. It's a pity that a room at this price can't even be soundproofed. Absolutely no soundproofing between rooms!!!

Nice area, everything necessary for your stay is there ie. Iron desk, iron, washing machine, dryer etc.

I would recommend to change pillows and duvets for more comfortable ones and additionally, would be nice to have a double duvet for double bed instead of two single duvets.

There wasn’t towels left in my room on first night when checking in, room was very hot because of hot weather , tv didn’t work properly. There could be some fresh fruits or more healthy options for breakfast.
