No air conditioning in our section of the hotel and the two flights of stairs to the room .

The staff were excellent , very helpful ,always smiling . The food was good with discount for guests in the cafe . The location was excellent . Right in the centre of Sigulda. The stair landing at our level had two large balconies to enjoy the sun/ views.

The staff were lovely and helpful and went out of their way to explain things to us in English. Our twin room was very cosy and quiet on the top floor of the building behind. We were able to store our bicycles safely here.The food at Kakis is just wonderful with so many delicious choices for dinner and breakfast, which was excellent. The adjoining bakery is very tempting! Really enjoyed our stay here.

Great location,just 5 min walking from bus or train station. Great price for center location.Brillian buffet food and very comfortable room. Best shower pressure i ever had,felt more like massage,than shower ❤️

My second experience and as great as my first one. Nice little room, clean and well equipped, a fantastic breakfast, and absolutely nice personnel and owner. And I recommend the restaurant for lunch of dinner, great value for price and nice home made cooking. Easy parking and well located in Sigulda with plenty of places to hike in.

Warm welcome by the owner, I could get my room sooner than check in time. My room was exactly as described in Booking, very clean, and with a boiler to make warm beverage which I appreciated with the cold temperatures. The breakfast was excellent and unforgettable, you can choose whatever you want within a vast selection of salty dishes, salads, sweet dished, and the coffee is super good. A fantastic experience in a nice area, free parking, great value for money, I am looking forward to have the opportunity to come back.

Very friendly and helpful personnel, a comfortable and spacious room. I felt genuinely welcome. The hotel is situated only a few minutes from the train station in the center of town. The breakfast was not the usual bread, butter and so on, but a wide variety of tasty homemade latvian delicacies.

Small and very cozy hotel. We found everything we needed there. A bit old fashioned style, but that's what gives this place its charm. A nice and cute cafe downstairs, where the food is delicious and the symbol of this place - real cat -rests so sweetly nearby.

It would have been nice to have some fresh fruit at breakfast.

The room was listed as a budget single with internal courtyard view, but it was the opposite. A good size area with comfy sofabed, separate area with fridge, TV & kettle, separate toilet & a separate fantastic shower. The view was over the car park to the road which was fine. Staff are lovely & super helpful.

Very friendly and helpful staff who speaks English very well and seem really passionate about hosting guests. There is delicious food at any time of the day and even a bar! Comfortable room and bed. Walking distance to the hiking trails, bus stop / train station and shops. And then there is the boss: a cat who will win anyones heart!
