Rooms are pricier than others, but i’m happy to pay for the location close to the beach. Price of evening buffet dinner is quite high at 10 OMR per person

tent 🏕 was in ok ok condition - when we went to turtle 🐢 watch n came back one cat 🐈 entered our room n messes up the snacks and destroyed the garbage bag , later we found out there was a whole in the back door 🚪, basically the stich was gone hence the cat 🐈 entered n made mess of our room

the tint has this tint water smell but that is normal, however of they could make it not smell it would be amazing. there is no late night dinner order to room.

the location is amazing and there is a restaurant for dinner and breakfast. quite at night.

Perhaps we were just unlucky due to strong winds, but the tent was very noisy and none of us slept

The tents were quite far from the beach. Not actually on any beach. The tents are very noisy from the winds which are strong at this location.

Good service and staff. We were there to view the sea turtles and the hotel was excellent in making sure we had a good time.

Enjoyed the night tour to watch the turtle..Staffs were friendly and we enjoyed the stay in hut.

Check-in was too crowded and the fact that the turtle viewing and check in was same counter was hopeless. But if the purpose was to watch turtles then this place provided you with just that.

Breakfast spread was ok. Quality of food could have been better. But there were enough options.

As it was Eid, we were advised during the evening tour, that the morning tour of the turtles was cancelled. Given this is the main reason people stay, it would have been good to have been advised earlier.

It was convenient to stay close to the Turtles. The nearby beach was quite beautiful. Staff were friendly and food in the restaurant was very good.

the food was alright , it could have been better ! the crowd to see the turtles could have been more organised, as it was very crowded and all were pushing and charging to the door , also while looking at the turtles the groups were tooo big , which i felt was not appropriate for the Turtles , being a reserve ! they should be more strict about the crowded humans disturbing the turtles

The tents are partially covered from winds but during the night the impact of the wind on the canvas does keeps reminding you that the coastline has strong winds year round

The only negative was probably breakfast with almost the same menu each day but not not really a big issue.

Travelled in July and stayed for 3 nights. We got to see a lot of turtles laying their eggs. The evening tour was really good as the guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information. The morning tour helps you see the turtles clearly but has a silent guide. The weather was amazing. It was a strong wind. It was humid but bearable. The tents offer a nice change from a standard room but can get noisy with the wind constantly hitting the tents. I would still choose the tent as it is at the top of a hill and has amazing views. The staff are friendly and helpful. Especially, Abhay at the reception. He helped us organize a trip for fishing and snorkeling.

A bit tired and needs investment. This includes the Museum where some of the displays and projectors were broken.

Staying at the Reserve was the best option to see turtle! It was magical. Very nice food at the restaurant and staff was lovely. The tents are nicely located - hidden from the beach, which is necessary for turtles.

I think overall it is quite expensive for what you are getting. We also had to pay extra to enter the museum which seemed to have conflicting information or sections that were closed, so I wouldn't recommend doing that.

We really enjoyed the turtle tour, we went once in the evening and once in the morning and it was great that that was included in our stay. As it was low season we only saw one turtle on each tour but it was amazing to see and I would definitely recommend. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the restaurant staff were really nice. The room was basic but clean and had everything we needed.

When it says room for four it is two double beds.

The outdoor tents, clean and large, nice view, turtle tour was amazing, food good, staff friendly and entertaining.
