Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Germanythe highway is pretty close, but at night it is ok.
We had the chalet for 2 with the indoor pool. It was a blast. Comfortable and nice; the cooking area and the grill was indoor, cosy atmosphere and near to the desert and the wadi. They arange nice trips for you, if you like. You only have to ask and you get what you asked for. funny animals, like asian turkeys, observing you through the window, while you are cooking. Perfect Internet, so we could get some work done too.

IndiaPlease eliminate using so much plastic! from the water bottles, to the bathroom shampoo shower gels etc. And maybe warmer lights... the white lights everywhere was a bit harsh!
The location was ideal... right off the highway and very easy to get to Wadi Bani Khalid quickly... which is what we wanted! Its a basic decent stay... with clean rooms and bathrooms.

GermanyClean and big rooms. Nice garden with rest area. Staff was very friendly and helpful, with all problems (Brother was sick they prepared medicine) Breakfast was good. They offer a sunrise desert tour with a beduine guide 30 rial (for as much ppl which fit in the car) which was awesome. Tour was set for 1.5h but the guide showed us Alot of places so it was more like 3 hours. After the tour was camel riding and tour through a traditional beduine house (extra paid 3 rial each person for 5 minutes camel ride, longer rides available for more cost) - all together was 4 hours tour, I highly recommend it. It is totally worth the money.

GermanyToo expensive for what it is. Rooms and common areas could be more cozy. Pictures indicate a common pool area, which isn't existing in reality.
Good location to visit the nearby Wadi, almost the only hotel in the area.

United Arab EmiratesThe warm welcoming of the place owner and flexibility of early check-in. Mohammed greeted us with a smile and made us feel at home. He didn't charge me for the omelette saying that it's their pleasure to serve us. I definitely want to visit again. Also I'm grateful for the sun block curtains! I could deep sleep without the sun creeping through the window:)

OmanI recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel near Wadi Bani Khalid run by a wonderful family, and I can confidently say that it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and hospitable staff, who made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is nestled in a beautiful location, surrounded by stunning scenery and peaceful surroundings. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities you need to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel is also well-maintained, and clean, and has a charming traditional design that adds to the overall experience. But what really sets this hotel apart is the family that runs it. They truly go above and beyond to ensure that their guests have the best possible experience. Mr. Mohammed Al Hajri(owner) is always available to answer any questions, provide recommendations, and ensure that everything is running smoothly. He even took the time to share some of their traditions and customs with me, which was a highlight of my stay. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Wadi Bani Khalid. The combination of breathtaking scenery, comfortable accommodations, and unparalleled hospitality made for an unforgettable experience. I hope to have the opportunity to return someday and stay with this wonderful family again.

United StatesEverything was perfect.
The location is a half hour drive from Wadi Ben Khalid. It is not the closest stay to the Wadi but it is definitely conveniently located right off the highway (There is no sound from the highway). The host was super welcoming and the food was lovely. They did everything to make sure you felt comfortable and I would definitely stay again.

CroatiaWe didn't really care, but if for someone is important, pool is not active.
Very nice stay close to Wadi Bani Khalid. Amazing dinner and breakfast for affordable price. Rooms were good and clean. There was "incident" with mosqitoes invasion in bathroom because previous guests destroyed mosquito net, but when reported to staff it was fixed in less than half hour. So it was great experience.

FranceNo restaurant. you have to order from outside and only junk food. For having a coffee from machine they charge 2 rial too expensive for 1 capsule. And on top I paid my breakfast 2 rial. Sonorisation too poor. Couldn't sleep well. Can ear people talking in corridor, doors slammed.
