United KingdomThe location is stunning and the staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. We stayed here to do the Balcony walk and that worked very well. Some of the previous reviews mention poor quality food - the food isn’t really fancy but it was all tasty and fresh. All the food has to be driven up winding steep roads for several hours so the variety isn’t going to be the same as you may get at hotels in more accessible locations.

GermanyThe pool seems to be out of work for a longer time…we would have loved to use it after the hike. The food was reasonable, but not excellent - an improvement in quality would be good. It is a very nice resort, but sometimes you think that it needs better maintenance.
Nice hotel of the Sama Group far away in the Jebel Shams mountain area & in close distance to the Balcony walk (~15 min by car). We had our own house with a nice view towards the mountains, quite clean and well equipped. The stuff at the reception & the dining area was very friendly and service oriented. One can enjoy a nice sunset.

We visit Jabel Akhdar on our usual adventure trips. This was our 4th stay with them. We love it for its simple and fit for purpose facilities which resonates well with the surroundings. For someone looking for a relaxed weekend, it won't disappoint as well. Good for young families too.
