We got a standard room, so there was no fridge or internet available. Breakfast and dinner were terrible, food without taste, i have never eaten a chicken so dry.

Location and resort are great and beautiful, the vibe inside resort is really amazing. Close to hiking paths.

Air conditioneers installed in the rooms, but works for cooling only. For heating is provided electric fan heater which was noisy.

We have got free room upgrade to mountain view room. Good breakfast and dinner, although not buffet style because during Ramadan resort was almost empty.

They charged my credit card when I had wanted each of my guests to pay for their own rooms.

It is not value for money…you need a transfer if you don’t have a 4x4 car…there are no activities but the trekking

The room is comfortable and both the dinner and the breakfast are good

The resort and its location is like a secluded little magic place. The staff were super friendly and even offered us a free room-upgrade because we were there during the off-season. The dinner and breakfasts were great, and all in all w loved our (way too short) stay at Sama. Highly recommend!

Price is a bit high, in terms of the overall value. It is also confusing or unclear about the necessity of the vehicle type one should have to access the hotel.

Great location, especially if you plan to go hiking. Can be tiring to access, but doable with a AWD (and I did it when roads were washed out from extreme rain). The food was good, especially for buffet style. Staff were kind and very helpful. Room was large, nice covered balcony. There is a nice spot to view the sunset. Room has a mini fridge, but oddly no hairdryer. It was great that they provided a small electric heater.

Unfortunately breakfast and dinner were a bit disappointing. This is the only reason why I could not give it a 10.

The place is quiet and beautfiful. You can get there with a 4x4. The staff is incredibly kind and always ready to help.

Good place to stay, very close to Balkony walk, food was good but not special. We had the grand chalet. Was big and nice, but the terrace had no good view. All in all nice Ambiente and good location for the hike, but quite pricey.

My bathroom was a little smelly - possibly the drains. Single use plastic bottles for water in rooms.

Lovely location in the mountains. Peaceful, with nice views for sunset. Lots of hiking opportunities. Dinner was good, and there was a nice restaurant/seating area. (No activities while I was there because of Ramadan, but normally they have a camp fire etc)

Dinner didn't start until 7pm (and even during Ramadan, sunset is around 6:20pm, so most other establishments start serving then). One half-roll of toilet paper came in our room, and there was no housekeeping (we stayed two nights).

Great location with beautiful mountain views--especially from the grand chalets. Near Balcony Walk (15-minute drive). Great playground for little ones. Good buffet breakfast and dinner.

I did feel overpriced for what you get. No hairdryer in the room and the small heater is not enough to heat up the room at night. Finally, despite the dinner was very good, penne Alfredo was the most disgusting pasta I’ve ever eaten in my life.

Lovely location and the entire resort is designed to fit in well with the surrounding environment which was very nice. Dinner was also great and the waiter at the restaurant was super kind and lovely in serving us.

No wi-fi in the area, but good network coverage. The room got quite cold at the times, but quickly could be heated with the heater. Also, no hairdryer, but the heater did the job :)

Super good location if planning to visit the W6 Balcony hike or the long W4 hike. Was easy to find, but might be advisable to have at least 4x4 car. The breakfast and dinner was super tasty and plenty, providing both oriental and european cousine. The room was nice and luckily had a heater, as the nights got cold.

None. But There should be a caution on the directions for travelling coming by Road from Abu Dhabi Side. The google maps takes you off road before Nizwa and that road till Hamra is very risky.

Dirty bathroom. Very basic accommodation. Below average food. We stayed for two nights. Two breakfast and two dinners exactly the same. No variety.

Nice location. Good stay for one night or two to do the balcony walk.
