We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomAlthough many people are driven to the hotel the road was tricky in places and care needs to be made because it is steep and windy and in some places not in good repair - it is work in progress. The weather was surprisingly poor during my stay with a storm or two which exposed a lack of things to do if restricted to the hotel. This is very unusual for Oman though - I was just unlucky. Expect to pay more than typical for food and organised trips.
The views from Alila are really spectacular which makes it, in my view, one of the most desirable locations in Oman. Good for spending 2 or 3 days. The food was excellent with many choices at both breakfast and dinner. Staff were typically very helpful, but in particular I found Pamela and Latisha to be outstanding. The room and views from the room were absolutely stunning.

United KingdomWe coincided with Ramadan which had quite a big impact on the hotel such as only one restaurant open, the view was covered from the dining room during daylight hours and no food/drinks were served by the pool. Also the telescope was broken so we couldn't do star gazing.
The setting is incredible, can't think of a better view from a hotel room! Food was delicious and service very attentive.

We loved that the breakfast was al a carte, the home made touches like the almond chocolate spread were amazing, fantastic selections of fresh juices and a wonderful view. The staff are always so attentive and lovely to chat to in the morning. If you were too hot or cold they would move you or add a blanket. The French toast was the best thing I have ever eaten! Melted in my mouth!
