There was an air-condition in the room, but no remote control, staff was not able to provide, so we were not able to cool down the room (36 degrees outside); the bed was not comfortable; there was wi-fi, but we wasn't able to connect it on the 7th floor were we were; the hotel is pretty big but has only 2 lifts, the 1 didn't work accurately and the other was not enough to serve all the guests, so we often took the stairs up and down the 7th floor.

Location of the hotel was great - within 5-7 min from the very city center, close to supermarket, with parking space behind the hotel, staff was very polite and helpful.

The bed was too short for me (I'm 1.92), it was pretty run down, they cleaned the bathrooms only occasionally, the eiderdowns were a bit stained and the blankets thin.

It's the last untouched Soviet hotel in the city. It was quiet (mainly), the showers were hot, the sheets (but not necessarily the eiderdowns) were clean, one of the receptionists was smiley, it was a good location, it was mainly clean

There were hairs on the bathroom and on the bed and some food from the guests before still in the fridge so it's nothing for people who need it super clean. The hotel was quite empty. The only other guests seemed to be some workers hanging around the hotel.

The location is great for walking around the city. Everything is in walking distance. A great plus is that we could do the check in very early in the morning at 8 am at no extra cost which was super convenient for us as we arrived with the night bus from Kiev. The hotel in general and our room had a Soviet times charme and is budget friendly. It was also good that the girl who took shift during the day spoke English.

~There was no hot water in the room. I specifically paid for a room with private bathroom but couldn't use it. At least they provided me with the keys to another room 3 floors over that had hot water. ~There was terrible smell in the common areas. ~The staff couldn't speak any English. ~The bed was way too short for me, and I'm not very tall. They say you get what you pay for but there are actually much better alternatives for the same price in Chișinău.

The heating was not turned on in the city… so no heating in the room. But reception has provided portable heaters which solved the problem. Great people at reception 👌👏

I arrived at Nov,4 and it was really cold inside. It was fine at night as I had blanket, but to stay in the room outside of the bed was impossible. The beds were really old and they were making really bad sound.

The room was as described and exactly as it looked at photos. location is really great, main street is just around the corner, so you can easily walk everywhere. Though it could be tricky to get there by car. When I arrived, I was informed that I can only pay with cash, but the girl at the reception was really nice & she guided me where I can withdraw the money (it was really close, just 3 min from the hotel). Shared bathroom was really clean, but I was the only one who was using it.

Coldness in the room, they do not accept cards, i could not check in without paying first so i went around at 2 after midnight to find ATM for local cash. My mistake to go there..never more!

In the first half hour, in room 411, bedbugs bit me as I lay on the bed. Four red bite marks appeared. Would this ruin your visit?

The rooms were large and well-kept. Some, I repeat, some of the staff spoke English.

Old hotel, old furniture, super dirty ( filthiest place I have ever seen), elevator is a nightmare, it's old and unsecure. No lights inside the hollways, no working lights inside the room, bathroom was a nightmare, everything was old and dirty, fungus everywhere, beds were filthy, straightly taken from am horror movie, like a scene from "Jigsaw" or similar. This place needs to be avoided with any costs, it's better to sleep on a bench in the public park
