The ONLY thing that bothered us, well really not bothered us, but would have been better was if the rooms were a bit cooler because at moments it did feel a bit hot and stuffy in the room.

We liked and enjoyed everything. The hotel is a bit old but well kept. The floors are squeaky when walking on them but safe. Check-in is very nice and helpful from the time you get there to the time you leave. Hotel parking is behind the building. There is a lot of places to get food or go grocery shopping within walking distance. The room has a small fridge in it and downstairs in the lobby is a microwave, coffee, hot chocolate, or tea to your liking and places for you to sit that are comfortable. My family and I really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely return when in the area. Hotel is in a nice quiet safe area.

Wifi was sometimes patchy. The sound proofing is not great - between rooms, rooms and hallway, and street noise, including the nearby station (even though the trains add great character to the location). But the hotel staff are lovely and always willing and eager to help us.

As was expected this is an older property. So this comes with creaking radiators, showers that take a while to get hot, and just that "historic" feel. I found it to be fine but I could see how some people may not see it to be as charming. Due to the location, I would say prepare accordingly for any late night food.

This property is great value. It also can be very convenient as it is right across from the Amtrak Station. The staff were awesome and beyond hospitable. Additionally, if you need parking it is included and near by to the property.

The WiFi was VERY slow and we often lost the WiFi signal using several different devices.

The room was large, the bed was comfortable, ample parking was free and right behind the hotel, and the location was convenient.

We were disrupted by train whistle blowing a couple times in the middle of the night as our room was on street front side.

The staff were just terrific – friendly and capable. The place has character and charm, this is NOT a cookie cutter hotel. Clean, plenty of space, fridge in room. Great location.

I've stayed at the Coolidge before. It is an older hotel with interesting history. Check our the mural in the Vermont Room that depicts White River Junction history....it's really nice! The steam radiators clang a bit in the morning as the boiler starts up and the floors creak....it's great. The staff are helpful and the hotel is clean and comfortable. It's a great location for downtown White River Junction, with nice choices for meals.

The parking lot was a bit of a hike but, you could unload or load up right in front of the building.

Old fashioned heating system. Pretty chilly in the rooms until the steam heat was turned on which was followed by knocking in the pipes! would have liked a light breakfast.

The banging pipes woke us up at 4am. The hotel doesn't have food. We planned on having BBQ, but unfortunately all the restaurants in walking distance were closed (Google showed them as open), so we had to order delivery which took an hour and 20 minutes to arrive and it was cold . (Super Bowl Sunday)

Across the street from the train and the room and bathroom were spacious. (King Suite) The staff in the PM and AM were exceptional, very polite and helpful. Coffee in the lobby was fantastic.
