Our Aircon wasn’t working even though the staff came to help us out twice. They did give us a fan to help with the problem though. It was too far out from everything else and so we had to have our meals in the hotel. Price point was high for food.

We got a large room which was very spacious. The staff was very helpful and responded with speed to our requests.

Look, it's Iceland and everything is shockingly expensive -- try not to think about it too much. We arrived somewhat late in the day, tired, and with small tired children, so got room service for supper. What we had was good (not amazing, just good), but a slightly bigger/better selection (not just burgers) would be appreciated, something healthy and/or kid-friendly.

We only stayed one night to facilitate what would have otherwise been a long and late layover at the airport with two small children. So 24 hours in Reykjavik it was. The hotel is nice, clean, and all staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a nice large family room. It is a ca. 15 minute walk to the old 'centre' of town. Was not a problem for us, with kids, but keep it in mind. The breakfast was very good, with a large and varied selection for all diets. You should really try a few different beers at the bar downstairs or its restaurant.

The menus for the bar for those not choosing the dinner buffet were very limited with a heavy weighting towards fried food.

We had a beautiful , large room with an ocean view. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. The buffet breakfasts and dinners were excellent. Large variety and excellent quality. Front desk staff were helpful. Bathroom was large and the separate shower made it very accessible.

Staff is the best hotel staff I met! Location central -the best, bus stop 12 where tour buses /airport buses arrive when ordered is just at the entrance of hotel.Breakfast, dinner -great ! Next time in Reykjavik-I will book this hotel again,but next time -room with the view:)Just Big Thank you !

Staff is great at this hotel :reception, cleaning, at breakfast. Very polite and supportive, helped with tours, all request were solved professionally. Location is perfect close to shore and city center, cafes, shops.Bus stop Nr 12 just behind the hotel door, where tours are going. I am happy I did a right choice, and next time in Reykjavik, I will definitely book this hotel again. Thanks for everything! You are doing great!!!

Last night stay, the room floor was not cleaned properly, with black sands all over in the room.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The rooms were also clean and quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the hotel bar and food were great. The staff couldn't do enough for us they were so helpful and polite. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again.
