New Zealand3 reviews1 helpful vote“I wouldn't take much for Daku to present itself better.”The Daku Resort team responsible for the outward presentation of buildings are very 'house blind'. Some cleaning and painting required. The swimming pool was cloudy therefore the water was not inviting. Some resorts took the opportunity of Covid-interruptions to reinvest - not Daku for whatever reason. The kitchen didn't deliver well on their all-day menu, some items taking an hour to arrive. Lastly there was some funky smells lurking outside at times.
The location, the price and the large bungalow 4 bedroom plus on-suit for up to 10 people was awesome. Internally it was clean, tidy and inviting - I would come back with friends to experience that again. Also the general staff team was helpful and accommodating of our needs and requests. Grounds and fauna were fine.

United States4 reviews“Employees were delightful and room service was great since I could not use the stairs much.”The air conditioning was only in the bedrooms making the main area uncomfortable in the heat. Also our particular cottage was at the top of very long sets of stairs and I am unable to handle stairs easily. Once we settled in I did not leave the cottage at all because of this. I have had several back surgeries so that contributed to the situation.

Daku resort are self-contained Bungalows so has the privacy but has other guests not too far away, so you do not feel lonely or isolated. The staff are great and even though we got there by ferry in the early hours of the morning there were there to assist. George was absolutely wonderful and helpful. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Location is great and staff are so friendly. The food is delicious and fresh and such value for money. You can go snorkeling and kayaking right in front of the resort all free of charge and gear all avaliable.

The bures are lovely, and the outdoor shower is super cute. The view from the resort is stunning and the yoga platform has great view of the sunset. Food is good too and staff are very friendly and accomodating.

I think they should be able to prepare a good breakfast. With my booking they knew I got a group and I've emailed them and also I called them a day before . But that mornIng we had to wait for eggs and baked beans... The coffee was not ready. That is the only downfall I experienced with them...
