Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesOn going construction was distracting, especially in the morning.
The on-site caves were amazing. The heated pool was a nice respite given the below average temperatures. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced (for Bermuda). The bus stops were at the entrance to the resort making island exploration easy and convenient.

United StatesYour front desk service was spotty. I couldn't call the front desk from my room and get anything except a recording. I tried 4 different times on March 31 and April 1. One of your front desk personnel was impolite to me with my request to change my taxi pickup time which I needed for April 1. Overhearing his rudeness, a fellow employee at the desk intervened and said, "I can help with that." And she was able to easily make the change I needed. I was appreciative. According to a member of my family who also had a very negative interaction with this same front desk person, he was very curt with her on the phone prior to her arrival when she wanted to confirm some arrangements in advance. I believe my family member did ask to discuss this with a manager. I also thought not having a bathroom near the dining room in spite of the construction, was extremely inconvenient if not unsafe. As for the rooms, they are clean but tired. I didn't appreciate being charged $200/night more for my room (462) than my sister's (423) when they are in fact the very same room with the very same view and balcony. I did feel taken.
Food was great. Dining service was great. All the staff, with the one exception noted below, were friendly and very helpful and responsive. I liked the general relaxing and happy atmosphere. Very easy drive from the airport.

United StatesThe Dive Shop was closed Sunday 9/3 and Monday 9/4. That was very disappointing since we missed out on the water activities the day before due to a cyclone. The weather improves drastically by Sunday. Also, the quality of cocktails and lunch need improvement, both indoor restaurant and at the poolside bar.
Location - especially close to BDA airport. Good staff.

United StatesPrice for room was too high and paying another $60 per day for the use of the facility was over the top. Facility and gym needed updating and hotel is too far from town. The restaurant closes too early and breakfast should be served until noon since it is a vacation spot and not until just 10:30am
The beach in front of resort was beautiful and the jewelry vendors that came to the resort were so pleasant.

United StatesWe were not happy that the water park wasn't available because our sons were really looking forward to the slide. We didn't like that we couldn't have a can of Diet Coke to take to our room when we are paying for beverages with the all inclusive and do not drink a lot of alcohol. The bar was closed for some of us, but not for others. A few times the bartender was rude to our boys when they asked for a non-alcoholic beverage and they asked nicely with good manners. The all inclusive would be better if you could graze and have one of your appetizers mid meal instead of all at one sitting.
We really liked Jeff and Estaban, two waiters. They were very friendly, as were most. The cleaning staff that cleaned our room did a very good job restocking our toiletrees, kleenex, toilet paper, and towels. Our room was cleaned early which was very convenient. The towel/pool attendant was super friendly and kept the pool area neat. The food was very good. The drinks were better at the main building than at the pool. We especially liked that they put us in a room that was ready as soon as we arrived.

United Statesthe all inclusive package is just a meal plan and not a reall all-inclusive. it is limited to a breakfast buffet (7-10am), a limited lunch menu (restricted to lunch time) and at dinner you also are restricted to 6-9pm with one dish per course. drinks included are not good. Basic cocktails like a classic mojito has a $4 surcharge which we found to be ridiculous. If you miss dinner from 6-9 there are no other options to eat later. We usually dont like resort life but there are destinations where resorts are actually great. and when you get an all inclusove you expect to be able to eat at any hour, or to get basic cocktails included, otherwise what is the point? one thing that annoyed me was that while we were already at the table and had already shown our all inclusive card, the server asked me to show it again to order my second drink! this made me feel like i’m receiving food rations… I dont know how to explain but it didnt make me feel like I am on an all inclusive! The food at the Hibiscous restaurant was good but the Court room restaurant was too overpriced for super bland food. restaurant service depended on who you get. we had a lovely server (named Vinay) who was so nice and treated us super friendly, and another time another fellow was quite dismissive.
great location, beautiful spot, accessible to main attractions and has it’s own crystal caves :) the spa is a gem!

BermudaThe internet from the room kept dropping. I had a couple of meetings to conduct and a presentation. The presentation was to an international audience and to ensure it went smoothly I had to conduct that off premises. In the lobby was fine but not so in my room. They need to invest in more hotspots.

United StatesThe pool-side grill closed very early around 4 pm which is bizarre, and the concierge is merged into the front desk operations. Potentially all of the covid restrictions are causing this to happen, however it erodes the experience of enjoyment. There was absolutely NO nightlife or entertainment, which for an all-inclusive is really bizarre and detracting.
The room was very clean and adequate for an all-inclusive resort. Dinner is pricey and there is a somewhat limited menu. The private beach is definitely a WIN! The water is so warm, clean, and enjoyable! The resort is approximately a 5 min drive from the airport and you can even take the city bus to and from the airport as well for one token that $4.50. The Cathedral Cave on the property is definitely a MUST see experience along with the Natural Spa which is also in a separate cave.
