Fantastic hosts, and a great breakfast, with a nice selection of beer as well. The room is lovely, and there is a lot of parking right in front as well. Would stay here again if I'm in Thurso!

This small, family-run hotel has free Wi-Fi and free parking. It is in the centre of Castletown, close to Thurso and Wick and only minutes from the Castle of Mey. Wonderful location for the price. Room was a good size and the bed was very comfy. The dinners were AMAZING. Highly recommend anything on the menu. Portions were massive for the inexpensive price and very delicious! Dessert is also a must have. Staff were amazing, so cheerful and helpful.

Fantastic location to explore Caithness and onwards to Orkney. I have stayed in all the local hotels over many years but from now on this little gem will be our destination if available.

It felt like home away from home. Our host Sam was available and responsive to any questions we had. Definitely highly recommended when in the area and I would stay here again!

Our room was very neat and clean. The local hotel with a restaurant was next door and the ferry was a short walk away.

The restaurant was GREAT!!! Food was delicious. Plus you get a complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning. One of the best meals we had for dinner the entire two weeks we were in Scotland! Also, the Old Wick Castle is just a couple miles down the road, beautiful!!

Everything was just perfect. Got a room upgrade, so we were over the moon. The apartment has everything you could ever need. Comfy beds, warm apartment and ofcourse the view. Spent most of the time in the balcony watching the river. The host was amazing, very helpful and friendly.
