The property is perfectly located at 20-30 minute walking distance from downtown Key West ( Duval and Truman ), there’s plenty of parking space, modern architecture with spacious rooms, all with balconies facing the ocean, the swimming pool with Jacuzzi is spacious and located in the backyard in an open space facing a small beach and the ocean ( Not enclosed by the building as you find in most of other Opal resorts ) . There is a pool bar on the side with very friendly bartenders to prepare your favorite drinks. All the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The mattress was perfect and incredibly comfortable with the linens. The toiletry brand of L’Occitane was such a bonus!!! That was such a wonderful touch. The nespresso machine was a delicious lifesaver for first thing in the morning to get me going. The restaurant downstairs was absolutely 5 star! From the service or staff the minute you enter including the hostess, wait staff and the bartender! The food was absolutely exceptional. This stay exceeded all my expectations and I had high expectations based on the photos I saw of the hotel.
