A must see. Experience it in any season. Have been there in heat of summer to enjoy flowers and water features as well as in winter to enjoy skating rink. Casual and beautiful in the heart of downtown!

Definitely wear comfortable shoes when visiting as this is a big park with gorgeous walkways and things to see. In the winter months, there is a busy ice rink just below Cloud Gate (a.k.a. The Bean) which makes for lots of fun. The Bean is very popular so if you want to get good photos, best to be an early bird. The walkways are extensive and will eventually lead you to the waterfront at Lake Michigan. There is a big children's play area as well as space to cycle, run or walk whilst enjoying the vast space. There are clean safe restrooms in the park so this is always a bonus feature.

It was only a block or two from the Blue Line that picks you up from O'hare & right to Monroe. The El train is only a few blocks away which takes you everywhere you need to go in the city. Michigan Ave & Millennium Park is about 6 blocks away. Rocco the front desk associate was absolutely fantastic & very accommodating. The rooftop bar is relaxing & beautiful. The Bandol restaurant located right inside the hotel is marvelous. I will definitely be staying there on my next trip.TinaUnited States of America
