“One of the loveliest Guest House´s I´ve ever stayed in..surrounded by tropical gardens with papaya and mango trees, banana plants and borganvilla growing everywhere..and the most amazing views of the valley of Paul!! Kate the owner was always around in the morning and evening to give friendly advice on treks, excursions etc...Tasty breakfast and evening meal..and a great atmosphere with other guests!! Thoroughly recommend it and will definitely be back!! Thanks again!”

“The location is beautiful, with a fascinating view of the Paúl valley. The staff was very helpful in organizing the "aluguer" taxi for the island round-tour on the next day; and gave us a delightful insider tip on where to have dinner (just across the banana-tree garden, at Senhora Rosana backyard!). The rooms where very clean, and quiet. The breakfast was plenty and tasty.”

“Santo Antao is a magnificient island, a real paradise to visit, treck and enjoy a still very authentic Cabo Verde. There, we could not imagine better that Chez Hujo to know we will be very warmly welcomed and taked care of, where we would feel fully at home, while at the best place to circulate and visit all the places Worth seeing in the island. My 2 children and I had a wonderful time with Joel and Hudson, their guest house is very well taken care of, recently built with a lot of taste, and they do their best to arrange the most enjoyable stay for all their visitors.”

“Misurino was such a pleasant guy, happy, helpful, and welcoming. He had a great breakfast for us in the morning which was complimentary along with coffee and tea. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The house was designed by Misurino and has a fun and unique style. It is situated at the base of a hiking trail which we took a yaz (passenger van) to the top and hiked back down. The hike is something spectacular. We also had our small dog with and he is pet friendly. For the value, location, and great host I would recommend Misurino to anyone looking for an incredible experience!!”
