At the top of Adam's Peak it is quite cold and windy, you will be walking up and sweating. In order not to freeze at the top while you wait for dawn, I advise you to take extra dry clothes to change at the top (there is a toilet there), a windbreaker and a thermos with hot water. And don't forget the sunscreen, as soon as the sun comes out it won't spare you. This is an amazing place call mountain Malaya, where Guru Rinpoche gave Tantric Teachings in the Tibetan tradition for the first time on earth. And also the place of Dakinis. Glad that you will be there. Make a wish for the benefit of all sentient beings(you are one of them ;)) ! :)

We got to the top of Adam's peak to find a locked gate- very disappointing, as we couldn't get a view of the other side of the mountain! Apparently it is only open in season and I think this should be changed

This is a site every visitor to Sri Lanka should travel to. Which has historical, cultural value, hiking experience very difficult to find on most other tourist destinations. Can complete in one day (one night booking). Just about 4 hours travel from the capital, Colombo. All year cold temperature.

It's amazing area to travel.
It's amazing area to travel. Specially adam's peak is the most enjoyable hiking mountain with sri lankan traditional activities. All can enjoy with the mountain view and the waterfalls. There are lots of hotels and restaurants in that area with relevant prices.
We planned hiking Adam's Peak (Sri Pada) for a sunset from top Temple and this Motel was a great place to have some sleep before hike. Host helped us with some tips and we had delicious dinner (even if there was no electricity - it broke in that area for some hours that day). We woke up 2, was at entrance gate around 2:30-2:45 and we made it for beautiful sunset. Then came back for huuuge tasty breakfast at Motel. Biggest breakfast in Sri Lanka. Thanks so much for your hospitality! Greetings!
It is located 10-15min walk from the center, which is perfect. In the evening they made a fire in the shared living room, since it gets cold at night, so it felt very cozy. Akram + Prince were extremely friendly and helpful. They organized a trip to a tea factory and Horton's Plain for very fair prizes and gave many recommendations for restaurants, etc. Breakfast was good with fried eggs, toast, yoghurt and banana.
Such a lovely guesthouse! The owner was so kind and willing to assist however he could! Made me a snack kit to take up Adams peak, and also made me the most delicious rice and curry I have had yet in Sri Lanka for dinner! Rooms are really nice and clean and the beds are amazingly comfortable! Would highly recommend this place to anyone who is wanting to hike Adams peak!
Nice multi storey hotel with swimming pool, great view of the mountain Sri Pada/Adam's Peak and its surroundings from the terrace, Budget rate for the hotel, very kind and soft spoken hosts (but they speak Tamil and Singhalese mostly), location great eventhough low season, there is information board about Adam's Peak climb at the lobby.
Amazing location especially if you are doing Adam’s peak, views are stunning from balcony.

Nice big room
Comfortable bed
Good air con

Yummy breakfast and best Sri Lankan curry I had on the trip!
Lovely to see monkeys on the balcony but door needs shutting as explained by hosts due to food disappearing LOL
we stayed there second time. the best place to book if you want to go to the adams peak. host prepared wonderful dinner and also some snacks for our journey to the mountain. that was super nice. Rooms itself are clean and spacious with great view. host also helped us with transfer and was super nice and welcoming.
The family was just amazing. The daughters were always there to help us and the mother cooked us the best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka. Also, the location was perfect! You have a lot of guesthouses and hotels near Adam's Peak, but quite touristic. This is the best place to stay if you want an authentic experience.
This place is exceptional! Easily one of the best places I've stayed in Sri Lanka. Rooms are gorgeous and tidy, restaurant has amazing food and the location is perfect for Adams peak hikers! And the owner of this place Ruwan is most helpful person I've met. He arranged everything we needed and gave us good advices.
The hotel's location facing Adam's Peak offers stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The clean and spacious rooms with large bedrooms and comfortable beds provide guests with the perfect space to unwind and rest. Staying at this hotel is an unforgettable experience that guests will cherish.
I had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location provided breathtaking views. The hotel's amenities and services exceeded my expectations, making my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend Siyumi Hotel
I stayed here before Adam's(Sripada) summit. The owner and his family are too kind and welcoming. If you are planning for midnight climb to Sripada. Ask the owner to drop you, he will take till the entrance and pick you back when you come back. You will get all facilities here.
The room size was ok and the bathrooms were clean. breakfast was also good but not much varieties. Whatever we requested we got everything. The staff member Ranjan is really good and nice guy. From the hotel to the Adam's Peak entry is just walking distance.
We only stayed here for one night, but were surprised by the hotel.
We had a huge bedroom with an enormous bath.
Staff were friendly and pleasant.
Good restaurant-great buffet, though more expensive than I had expected.
All in all-pleasant hotel stopver.
if you’re doing Adam’s peak, the location is absolutely amazing. it’s right near the start of the pilgrimage. the owner, Terrance, is incredibly sweet. he makes the place feel like home. always super attentive and very informative about anything you need.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Our kids were unfortunately sick, so we had to stay in the hotel with them, so I saw by chance how properly are the rooms cleaned. The lady even moved the beds, to clean under them properly.
The owner is very pleasant, he adapts very well to your needs. Don't hesitate to ask about lunch/dinner. Excellent Sri Lanka real food with fresh ingredients and very reasonable price. It is the closer to Adams peak start.
Never expected such a lovely place in Nallathanni. Great hospitality clean hotel and rooms with all amenities. The hosts went the extra mile even to provide food out of the menu, great value for money and yummy food.
