Apart from the obvious that it’s right by Adam’s peak the staff were exceptional!
We arrived late and still had dinner there. We were greeted and given all the information we needed about the climb and also loads of info on how to get to our next stay. They gave us coffee for our 2am hike too:)

At the top of Adam's Peak it is quite cold and windy, you will be walking up and sweating. In order not to freeze at the top while you wait for dawn, I advise you to take extra dry clothes to change at the top (there is a toilet there), a windbreaker and a thermos with hot water. And don't forget the sunscreen, as soon as the sun comes out it won't spare you. This is an amazing place call mountain Malaya, where Guru Rinpoche gave Tantric Teachings in the Tibetan tradition for the first time on earth. And also the place of Dakinis. Glad that you will be there. Make a wish for the benefit of all sentient beings(you are one of them ;)) ! :)

What is quite nice is to climb up the Adams' Peak. The climb is good for those who like climbing and hiking.

We got to the top of Adam's peak to find a locked gate- very disappointing, as we couldn't get a view of the other side of the mountain! Apparently it is only open in season and I think this should be changed

This is a site every visitor to Sri Lanka should travel to. Which has historical, cultural value, hiking experience very difficult to find on most other tourist destinations. Can complete in one day (one night booking). Just about 4 hours travel from the capital, Colombo. All year cold temperature.

It's amazing area to travel.
It's amazing area to travel. Specially adam's peak is the most enjoyable hiking mountain with sri lankan traditional activities. All can enjoy with the mountain view and the waterfalls. There are lots of hotels and restaurants in that area with relevant prices.
My room was spacious and with an amazing balcony towards a garden behind which there is a river. At nights you hear all voices of nature. Rooms are clean and there is a wide big comfortable bed with an immense mosquito network. There is a kettle in a room, lovely designed mirror closet and even you have a hairdryer. The owner speaks perfect English and is very friendly and helpful. You can as well grab here a breakfast ( continental or Sri Lankan) as well as a traditional, delicious Sri Lanka meal.
The hosts were extraordinary service oriented, hospitable and helpful. They provided us with a wonderful stay! We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. The room and the facilities, were the best we had during our entire stay im Sri Lanka! Also the food was prepared super fresh and was delicious! Since we stayed during Christmas time the hosts surprised us with a small Christmas gift🎄 🤗 We highly recommend daddy's guest house and would come back anytime.
need to say they we had once of the best dinner so far in whole Sri Lanka, the owner and chef in one person is super nice, we had a nice chit-chatting :) the place has a lovely common dining place, with a nice view into the garden. Rooms are old but fully equipped, good location if you want to go at Adam´s peak. It was our second time in Nallathanniya, first time at Queensark, but for the future we will definetly come back here :)
It is located 10-15min walk from the center, which is perfect. In the evening they made a fire in the shared living room, since it gets cold at night, so it felt very cozy. Akram + Prince were extremely friendly and helpful. They organized a trip to a tea factory and Horton's Plain for very fair prizes and gave many recommendations for restaurants, etc. Breakfast was good with fried eggs, toast, yoghurt and banana.
Good stay and start for the Sri pada hike. At first the owner didn't seem to be too friendly but turned out to be super helpful and nice, he made sure that I made it to my bus back to Hatton which leaves just in front of the building. Make sure you go to eat this really authentic Sri Lankan restaurant which is just across the street and I just loved the old lady who keeps it.
The room is clean, with a comfortable bed and a superb view of the jungle, river, and Adams Peak. The owner and his family are awesome! They are friendly and always try to help. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to climb Adam's peak and visit the nature around Maskeliya
Very nlce and honest place literally next to the pilgrims path up adams Peak. The rooms are basic but you have everything you will need. The highlight of this hotel is the food! It is prepared by the landlords mother and is delicious, we ate both breakfast and dinner.

Lovely homestay located very close to Adams peak. The hosts are super helpful and will work around your schedule to produce delicious food - I think one of the tastiest rice and curries we have had in Sri Lanka!! The place is gorgeous and we had the upper room which had balconies on both sides to get all views!

Chatu, The owner of the place was kind, generous and helpful. Chatu has really good suggestions on where to go and offers really good food in the place.
Cozy, comfortable rooms. The hotel otsrlf is nice and has a very hipsterish vibe. The staff was very nice and due to their tips we were able to reach the top and see the suntise on Adam’s Peak on. Sunday morning, when it was packed with people.
It is near to Adam's peak and you can park your vehicle there during your hike. Reasonable packages. Rooms are worth for the money but before stay please confirm from the entrance what are the includes with your packages !
I had a wonderful experience at the Delhousie Hotel. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues!
Mr Nimal's corporation is highly recommended. We had 2hrs extra stay for foc. All the best when you finish the construction of other rooms of the premises.
