Kutchan is a lovely city with friendly locals and widespread English proficiency, making communication easy. There are plenty of options for renting or purchasing snowboard gear, which is convenient for enthusiasts. Overall, I will definitely return to Kutchan.

The ingredients and the cooking is first class. The staff is the most welcoming staff we ever met in Japan - and that is something. The open Bath is just great. The water is original onsen water. Relaxing in the rotemburo watching the clouds on Mount Yotei is paramount. The design of the room is a fantastic mixture of Japanese tradition and modern architecture. The room, the equipment, the furniture- all fantastic.

The toilet is good. Warm toilet seat, adjustable pressure for water spray and even air dryer and air freshener after using the toilet! Also appreciate there's a 24-hour convenient store next to the hotel.
