Hokkaido Bed & Bagel was the best place we stayed on our trip to Japan. We loved the interesting way of decorating and the spaciousness. Loved the kitchen and laundry facilities. Lovely big shower room and separate toilet room. Particularly loved the hammock! The property is easy walking distance from the train station. The bagels were delicious. The owner was very helpful when we accidentally left something important behind. We look forward to staying again, hopefully soon.

Koukaso is a wonderful place to stay. The accommodation is scrupulously clean and the host polite and accommodating. He answered all my questions and even took a delivery of one of our bikes that got lost on its way from NZ.
There was a kitchen so I was able to cook my own breakfast and a lovely garden to sit out in.
I would highly recommend this place for solo travellers, couples, or family groups.

Location: excellent location not far from the Sapporo JR station (where you can take trains to the airport, about 10 minute walk), also next to local metro station. the best part is that, it's close to the central shopping street, where you can find nice small shops. Also several Japanese restaurant and izakaya next door, there is a Family Mart convenience store on first floor.
About 5 min walk to REI hotel where most of tours pick up their guests.
