Just beautiful. The temple is gorgeous and serene. We had the family room with a private bathroom which was clean and a good size for our family. The dinner was perfection and one of the best meals we had in Japan. We wish we had booked for longer.

Lovely comfortable room. Nice staff who really tried to help me with the Kohechi route, and found an English speaker on the phone to help me.
Nice shower and good WiFi, with little lounge area. Thank you

The wonderful Sanso Amanasato is worth visiting this tiny hamlet. The hotel is heavenly - the onsen, the rotemburo, the gardens, and the FOOD was the best meal we had in Japan. You can also take the hotels bikes and bike over to the shrine nearby.
