Toyoko Inn Shonan Kamakura Fujisawa-eki Kita-guchi, hotel in Fujisawa

Toyoko Inn Shonan Kamakura Fujisawa-eki Kita-guchi is located in Fujisawa, within 9.2 km of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine and 23 km of Sankeien.

I have been stayed few same hotel in the different locals. The room always clean and space is ok. If you are travelling by couple please make sure you are booking the twin bed room which can have bigger bed size. Their bed is comforable and under bed can storage the luggage so whole room not look small and still have space to go. Good thing is they provide the breakfast, not much items but enough. This hotel breakfast room is pretty small so if you like to eat the breakfast must make sure you find the spot to sit before you take the food. selfserve laundry service and printing give traveller very convenience. I accidently left my computer in the hotel and their stuff is friendly to send the courier to another Toyoko-inn hotel which I will stay another dayfor me even use the poor english to communicate but big help. Strong recommend this hotel.

It might not be for everyone, have to take one stop to Ofuna to transfer to other JR lines but very convenient visiting Kamakura and Enoshima. Plenty of stores around Fujusawa station for shopping. Airport bus to Narita and Haneda airports, although schedules not as frequent as pre-COVID check in advance.

Fujisawa is wonderful and relaxed, and we come here at least 3 times per year to get away from the city. It's so nice to be able to come and NOT rush, which is why we now always stay overnight. Otherwise it's too stressful to do and see things and then get back on a train to go home on the same day. There ARE vegetarian and vegan-friendly places, but you have to find them. Use Happy Cow or another search engine to research before you come. Otherwise you'll be eating dinner at a convenience store (which isn't awful). Also, there aren't many places to eat breakfast unless you're ok with just a bakery.

Fujisawa is a beautiful city. There’s something for everyone to enjoy whether you’re a city lover or a nature lover, you’ll find something fun and interesting to do. It’s not too far from Enoshima which is a great thing, it means you can access the beach by train in 10 minutes

We stayed in Enoshima, mainly to see the sights on the island. We didn't plan to spend much time on the beach - the facilities are basic and the sand and sea not too clean, but you could safely paddle and swim if you wanted to. Enoshima Island was interesting, the views from the tower and the rocks and caves were good. There were good views of Mount Fuji. There's not much else to see in Enoshima but Kamakura is close by train and definitely worth s day or two.

It's very smart to find a hotel in Fujisawa for the stay, if you may like to visit Kamakura area extensively for more days. I didn't plan any trip to visit and walk around in Fujisawa city, since Kamakura gathers so many interesting sightseeing venues there. In my views, Enoshima is just normal, so it is not necessary to list it into the must-be visiting, neither to buy the certain Pass the tourism office is promoting. If you may have spare time, just walk to visit it and climb up the not-so-high hill.

Although it is a bit difficult to find out the hotel at first, the hotel has prepared the instruction of the direction to make it easier. The location is convenient, where you can easily reach 3 different stations and the beach. The 'hotel' is more likely to be seen as your home, and you can get everything you need in the room. (washing machine, dryer, refrigerator, bath/shower, kitchen... ). With living room and Kitchen, you can enjoy some meals, drinks and chats with your friends and family, just like returning home everyday.

Location. Cleanliness. Comfort. This is the 2nd time for me to use this place (previous time was with my 6 years old son and this time was alone). The positive aspects: proximity to the train-bus station, supermarkets, all the good restaurants, and the convenience stores. The hotel service. The hospitality. The room. I was a satisfied customer like the previous time! Very quiet town. No noise problem, in spite of the proximity to the train station. Certainly, I will come back!

The breakfast was amazing! I loved the variety of foods that they had every morning. I also liked that there was a vending machine and 2 washing machines. I didn't have to worry about doing it when I got home. The location was something else! Right next the Fujisawa Station. The Tokaido line, Shonan-Shinjuku Line, and the Odakyu Line gives travelers many options to get around Kanagawa. These lines connect to 4 other prefectures too!

This place was really an exceptional experience. The Japanese style room is really spacious and clean, the futon bed is made for you every day and it had a great view of Mount Fuji. Staff is extremely helpful and the breakfast is a real positive experience. The two onsen are beautifully decorated. The staff was happy to read my allergy card and adapt the breakfast menu to gluten free.

The hotel was clean, Island colorful and airy. It also had a retro vibe and youthful vitality. Most of the guests seem young and hip. The staff at the reception area could speak and understand English. They were polite yet engaging. The breakfast staff, especially Thor was friendly and helpful too insuring I had a very delicious meal.

We had a BIG room only for us, typical japanese tatami style, with shower and bathroom. The little courtyard is beautiful and cozy, you can eat/drink/rest outside as there are some little tables. The parking is very convenient. The location is perfect, not far from Enoshima beach or Kamakura but not in the middle of the crowd.

Lots of food choices downstairs. Easy check in and check out process. A short 10 minutes walking distance from Katase-Enoshima Station if you are coming from Shinjuku/Fujisawa. Also a short 10 minutes walking distance to Enoshima Station if you plan to take the Enoden Line to explore attractions at Kamakura area.
