Chitose is just a small little place to spend a night or two for international connecting flights &/ domestic flights . It is a pleasant little place to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city!

Chitose was just a stopover for us to get from Niseko back to our country. The airport has more than enough entertainment to occupy us. It gave us a chance to do some last minute souvenir shopping and also buy bento boxes to eat on the plane.

The only reason we stayed in Chitose was to take the bus up to Lake Shikotsuko. We didn't do any hiking, so a half day was plenty for this part. There aren't many dining options in Chitose if you are on foot (we traveled by train), and very little in the way of other attractions in town. It seems to be mainly a convenient place to stay after you fly in from the nearby airport.

It is inconvenient to check in, the heating is not warm enough, it is difficult for us to fall asleep at night. There is no restaurant nearby, and the transportation is inconvenient. I will not make a reservation next time.

We had to travel to Chitose as we needed to fly out from New Chitose Airport. Nonetheless, we decided to stay here for 2 days to visit Lake Shikotsu & the airport for it offers many attractions. We really enjoyed the lake (very scenic!) and the airport - Royce Choc Factory, Doraemon Waku Waku Skypark etc. We got around Chitose in a rental car and the free shuttle the hotel provided. There were also plenty of souvenirs available at the airport for some last minute shopping.

Very close to airport, as well as several ski stations. it is cheaper than Sapporo city, and even if it does not have as many restaurants and places to visit as a big city may have, there are plenty of restaurants, parks and duty free malls and is very quiet place.
This is not the first time we have stayed here - and again, we were not disappointed. The Hotel is very conveniently located, so close to the train station and just a two stations away from New Chitose Airport. There are also many restaurants nearby - including one excellent Izakaya on the ground floor. The staff are polite, helpful and efficient. They communicate well in English and are knowledgeable about the local area and facilities. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained - and spacious enough for a short stay.
I place a high value on hotels located in airports whenever we need to travel for many hours. On this trip, we began in Kahului, Maui to Honolulu, to Haneda Airport and finally, more than 24 hours later, we arrived at the Air Terminal Hotel. It was a welcome sight!
Thankfully, check in was quick.
The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of delicious foods. With: our tummies satisfied, we were soon ready to continue our vacation.
Location is great. We booked for overnight for our next day flight from Chitose and it was really a pleasant experience.
Breakfast is excellent because of the variety of food to choose from. Going to the airport is just a few minutes away or just 2 stops away. There is a mall/ grocery near the hotel so if you need something or last minute shopping, you don't have to worry and also there's a lot of restaurants nearby.
Had to book after flights were cancelled. We were really happy to have this place to sleep before heading back to New Chitose Airport. Recommend it as an alternative to returning to Sapporo if in a pinch. A bit of a walk from Minami-Chitose train station but we didn't mind walking through snow. Taxi's are also possible.
Airport shuttle service is provided by the hotel but only up to 11 am. There are pick ups from the airport to the hotel at designated timings.
Public bath is available though it is a little small.
Lobby has a place for refreshments for guests. :)
The decor was modern and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The onsen was awesome. The hotel restaurant didn't have a table for me on a Thursday evening just for 1 person which I found odd. Airport shuttle was super convenient for me.
very convenient location, only 2 stations away from airport and is just outside the train station exit. There is a direct link from the train station exit to the hotel lobby at level 2. The breakfast is nice and has a good selections.
Very near from train station and walking distance to a shopping mall. Good price with breakfast and free shuttle bus to airport but must early booking for your departure time.
Everything. This place surprised me. I didn’t expect much from an airport hotel but this place, wow. I wish I stayed longer to use all their facilities.
