We stood in this very charming homestay for two nights before we made a three day trip to Ujung Kulon rainforest. Pantai Camera is a perfect base for a trip to the Ujung Kulon National Park - a much better choice than staying in nearby Labuan.
Lyn, the very friendly owner of the place, speaks english very well and was extremely helpful to arrange transport to Pantai Camera which is located just behind a stunning stretch of beach. The seafood dinner her staff prepared for us was delicious and also the Nasi Goreng and the coconuts provided for breakfast.
For the Ujung Kulon rainforest adventure I can highly recommend our guide HENDI, who also speaks very well english and can be reached via WhatsApp : +62 87772158455 or hendiblackrhino@gmail.com - he lives in Labuan and will also arrange transport to Pantai Camera or pick up anywhere (also at a hotel in Jakarta or CHK airport). 3] Alert Medical help with no charge. This is worth mentioning. I had a minor accident and the medical staff attended to my needs very well and even enquired in the morning again for new dressing.

The place was obviously located in a great location. Beaches nearby offer an outstanding view of Sunset, one of the hidden gems. Unfortunately, the facilities on the premises are a little bit dirty and not fully functioning. Including one of the air conditioners inside the bedroom. After raining, there are lots of insects swarming the lamp on the share space. The bathroom was great, but make sure you bring your own amenities since it was not provided by the premises. The bedrooms bed was clean, but like I said, the only problem was the air conditioner in one of the bedrooms.
