My favourite place in Munduk so far! The property is beautiful, tucked away in a quiet part of the area among gorgeous rice paddies. The view from the restaurant is stunning, you can see all the way to the volcanos of Java. The staff were so sweet and attentive, the food was delicious and well-priced. The breakfast was huge. The room was beautiful, so clean and well-thought out. They even had a yoga mat which we used for morning stretching overlooking the rice paddies. The onsite massage and facial was wonderful and the pool perfect for a dip. Highly recommend.

The attention of the local hosts is amazing. I have been around the world and never in my life had seen such a great attention from the hotel workers. Thanks to all you I am rating this place as 10. The place is beautiful and in the middle of the jungle! Lovely for a peaceful stay and run away from busy Canggu.

Really lovely, quiet and clean location. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, the pool had a nice view and the food was great. We did a waterfall/rice terrace trekking tour with a guide arranged by the staff and it was awesome. We really enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend anyone to stay at this location as well when visiting the Munduk area. But, like the other place in Bali (tropical island), there were some insects & bugs, mostly in rainy season or very hot weather. I guess they are looking for a shelter, but that's totally fine for me.

This is a new Hotel, it has opened this year. It's a big room, comfortable bed, the view is very nice with your own cozy pool and a nice bathtub with a great view.
The place is up the hill, nestled in nature. The breakfast is fresh and you can sit and enjoy the view. Thank you ver much for making a vegan breakfast. The whole place is tranquil and quite, totally hidden away in the middle of a plantation. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is also a possibility to book a driver, Gede, he was very friendly and helpful. From here you can do all the trekkings, visit the water temple and the rice fields.Thank you very much for making our stay so comfortable.

Amazing views to mountains from basically any hotel or restaurant. Many hiking trails to waterfalls or little bit further by the lake. Beautiful nature and very friendly locals. Stayed at Adila Homestay - very nice place with restaurant and many services on site + waterfalls hiking track behind their house. Also visited restaurant Made Warung and warung Kadirasa - both family owned by locals, in Kadirasa I was albe to sing karaoke with the owner. Please go and support them in every way possible, its really hard to survive out here for them.

Went to see waterfalls - well worth the effort.
Recommend some level of walking fitness before going - more than 1 500 uphill steps during the day resulted in delayed onset muscle soreness for a couple of days.
Take a GoPro for the waterfalls.
Water temple also worth visiting.

Excellent weather, albeit a bit chilly even in July. Greenery all around. Winding roads (not recommended to roam these roads by car if you get car sick easily). Plenty of waterfalls, though all of them require a bit of a trek. Very few tourists compared to southern part of the island.

For nature lovers that love to explore - tonnes of waterfalls in the area including the breathtaking Sekumpul Waterfall and the Lemukih Natural Water Slide were completely epic! The roads are decent to ride a scooter around and you get to see way more! On our next trip to Bali, we have already noted that Munduk is 1 of the places we would return to.

A wonderful place for nature lovers.
A wonderful place for nature lovers. A totally different side to bali, more authentic in a way. Waterfalls, lakes, mountains amd temples. A quaint little village. Absolutely worth seeing. Only issue is it's hard to get around, as you areore reliant on a local driver.
I LOVED my stay at Munduk Moding Plantation! Everything about it was perfect. The hospitality, the beautiful location, all of the greenery, beautiful sunsets, amazing quality food, staff very responsive and polite, everybody I came into contact with while I was there was sweet and helpful. They really go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Definitely take advantage of the restaurants, spa, and free daily services. Their signature tea is the best tea I’ve ever had in my life!
If you want to immerse yourself in nature for a couple of days, this quiet place in the mountains of Munduk is for you.
You'll stay in a cosy cabin, have sweet dreams in a very comfortable king-size bed, and refresh yourself after a full day of exploring in the open air bathroom. I especially liked the kimono's the hotel offers, wish I asked them where to buy 😉.
Moreover the hotel has an excellent restaurant with delicious and healthy options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The view was the best we had in Bali, Munduk itself is quiet and small and you can't walk anywhere but you don't need to when at this hotel. Very beautiful, very clean and lovely staff (comfiest bed on the whole trip). I would recommend including breakfast and dinner when you book unless you would like to get a taxi each night you stay.
This was the only place we stayed that had a heated pool as well which was amazing we loved our stay here.
Everything was perfect during our stay at Bali Rahayu Homestay. The view from the room is beautiful, the swimming pool is very nice too. Rooms are well equipped and spacious.
People are also very nice and helpful.
We did some hiking directly from the hotel, one in the rice terraces around the hotel, another one going to Munduk and on the other side of the hill to see beautiful waterfalls!
That’s the perfect place to visit Munduk
Me and my partner had a very pleasant stay at Munduk Clove, we enjoyed the beautiful view, the quiet area and the staff was really friendly and helpful. They arranged a scooter as soon as we arrived and on check-out transportation to another location and we were happy about the transparency of the taxi prices (they had a paper list with the prices for all the locations Canggu, Ubud etc.), the breakfast was tasty as well.
I absolutely loved everything about my stay. My room was wonderful with the most beautiful view of the mountains. Every single member of the staff I met were incredibly friendly, kind, helpful and professional. The breakfast was amazing and there’s a number of activities included with the price of the room. This was a unique experience to me and I can highly recommend a stay at the Munduk Moding Plantation Nature Resort.
The staff are extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. We loved waking up to a view of the rice fields.
Great breakfast and dinner at the restaurant too.
Loved watching the sunset from our front porch.
Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Make sure you go on a rice fields/ jungle trek (guided by hotel staff)! A highlight of our time in Munduk
I also had an in room massage and it was incredible

The entire time they made sure that YOU are the number 1 priority and are willing to help you with whatever you’re wanting to do. The gratitude for your stay means the world to the family, and there kindness is appreciated in return. Thank you.
Doni did a wonderful job making our 1 week stay in Munduk/gobleng worthwhile. best stay we have been so far. also nicest village, clean, no harassment by sales people or taxi drivers and very cool weather by Bali standards. cabins are rustic and very comfortable. waterfall hike and rice field hikes here are worthwhile. highly recommend.
Gede and his team are the best! The location was amazing. We also slept very good because that it cools down in the evening. The breakfast is great, and have a lot choices. The best hotel we stayed from the 4 we visited. with our honeymoon. We also did the spa which was nice aswell in a beautiful room.
The hotel is really cool, the room is clean and luxurious. Sleep well with the goose-down pillows, the linens and towels are comfortable from Egyptian cotton.
The food is amazingly delicious, from breakfast to dinner with the best quality of food.
The view is the best during my stay in Bali.
My sister and I loved staying here! The owner was so kind, so attentive and so helpful! We loved our room and the location was sooo good, 5 minute walk to some of our favorite food places and a walk to the rice terrace and waterfalls. We loved Munduk and would definitely stay again!!
Great place to spend a weekend, stunning nature all around, 15 minutes walk to a beautiful waterfall. The tent is very cozy, has everything you need. Very nice restaurant at the hotel. The staff is very polite and kind, I highly recommend staying at this place
- Location near Waterfall trail and rice fields trekking. It is about 20min walk to Munduk center and main restaurants.
- Owners are very welcoming and friendly
- Amazing view on mountains from the guesthouse and the rooms
The view is amazing, the restaurant is great, the infinity pool is lovely. The hotel exceeded our expectations as it was not just a homestay, but a collection of tree houses. The view from our window was superb.
Located central in Munduk village. Very nice and cozy family hotel. The room is clean, big. The Balinese breakfast and coffee are so tasty. thank you for your hospitality and keep fighting during this pandemic.
The location of the hotel, the staff and all the amenities in the hotel were top of the line and made our stay a comfortable and enjoyable one. Highly recommended for anyone travelling to North Bali
The view is stunning, very nice staff and family who run the business, good breakfast, rich menu, waterfalls are very close and you can go hiking directly from the hotel.
