This hotel was fantastic! Excellent location a stone's throw away from the beachfront of Seahouses.
The hotel was spotless, and our room was very clean and beautifully decorated, including the bathroom.
Staff were helpful and polite.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious - we loved that you got different options from the menu other than full English - Avocado on toast etc, and the continental selection was great.
The hotel allowed you to use the nearby pool facilities - I think this is fantastic although we didn't have time to use them on our trip - it definitely would persuade us to come back!

The property is nicely placed for local amenities but far enough away to be very peaceful. Just a short walk into town. The room was well proportioned and had everything we needed to make for a great stay. The owners are an absolute delight being friendly, informative and nothing is too much bother.

Beautiful working harbour adorned with lobster pods, plenty of day trips to visit Farne island, fish or drive. Lots of independent shops which is nice to see but best of all a great choice of eateries for breakfast, lunch and evening with the quality first class. The fish& chips were so tasty and the Italian was so atmospheric with such flavoursome food also you can walk everywhere easily

Seahouses is a perfect base to explore from. Lovely little town with amazing coastal path. If you enjoy walking you won’t be disappointed with this area. Superb scenery from Seahouses to Lindisfarne. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and discovered a lovely old traditional smokehouse in Seahouses. Before walking to Holy Island we enjoyed a coffee at Beal Barn with panoramic views. Driving over to Holy Island an option if you don’t want a very long walk ! Overall enjoyed excellent hospitality everywhere we visited. We’d need a full weeks visit next time to really appreciate that coastline. Stunning ! The Snug a cosy base for the two of us with parking right outside our door

Seahouses is a lovely place something for everyone.
Seahouses is a lovely place something for everyone. I especially enjoy the harbour and the boat trips. Love neptunes fish and chips . Gone to the farms island gift shop for many years it’s an Aladdin’s cave.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10
The last stop on our 3 day walk of the Northumberland...
The last stop on our 3 day walk of the Northumberland Coastal Path. We stayed in The Olde Ship Inn for one night - quirky but pleasant, helpful staff and good food, evening meal and breakfast. 7 mile round trip walk to Bamburgh Castle along the beach and back along the road was well worth it, interesting castle - good scones and coffee! Superb meal at The Bamburgh Castle Inn overlooking the harbour, I think they serve food all day.

Having the lounge was definitely a plus and having only booked one night at Chandlers on our road trip, we wish we’d had time for more. We ate breakfast in the delightful breakfast room next door and the food was very good. Within 10 mins you can be in Bamburgh within 30 mins you can be in Alnwick ( Harry Potter Castle) and there is sooo much more you can do in the area. The location is excellent for walks and all amenities. If you like golf Seahouses Golf course will not disappoint the 10th hole is my favourite. If you like fishing there are soo many options. Comfortable room on the top corridor, a bit of a climb up the narrow staircase but it is an old building. If you have mobility issues I am sure other rooms are available

Couldn't have got a better location for us and the added bonus of being a lovely quiet area. We would highly recommend to anyone and we are hoping to return later in the year.
