Amazingly well-appointed and spacious house, no MDF in sight, good solid furniture and furnishings that you would source for your own house! Immaculately clean Kitchen with every gizmo and cooking item you could imagine. Welcomed with a bottle of chilled prosecco and box of chocolates. The house has 2 sitting rooms, televisions in every room, a huge one in the main living room. Appears to be newly renovated and to a high standard. Sarah, the hostess personally welcomed us and explained the amenities and other info. Highly recommend this property.

A beautifil wee village with 2 very good pub / restaurarants at either end. A great spot to decamp and strike out to Bamburgh or some of the other glorious spots in this beautiful part of the country. It's one of those places you'd think too good too not keep secret! Staff were absolutely fantastic Lorna was so sweet and nothing was too much trouble made our stay so lovely. Plentiful and well-priced. The best feature of the hotel however is the lovely, friendly and helpful staff. They made us feel very welcome and gave lots of advice about local trips, excursions etc. Only negative about the property is the lack of hand-pumped beer!! We will return.
