A very warm welcome from Zoe who went out of her way to make us feel at home . Fabulous choice of breakfast , very peaceful and quiet on the farm and only 15-20 minutes away from the A1 . We would love to return again .

The staff always made a point of saying hello or good morning. Breakfast was freshly cooked and high quality, if very traditional. Our room was comfortable and a good size. We felt very at home!

A lovely welcome and then Paul was so friendly all the way through our visit. He shared lots of local knowledge with us. We really appreciated the flexibility Paul offered us. Really, nothing seemed to be too much trouble.
The position was perfect and but also really quiet.

Only nice thing was the land and gardens, everything else was a dive. No aircon in room really old bathroom and dirty floor granite. Really needs upgraded. Wish we staying in a Premier Inn instead. 7 adults stayed here for the weekend. Such a beautiful cottage, with everything you need at hand. The cottage is massive! Plenty of space to socialise, or if you want to, relax on your own. The weather was glorious, so we enjoyed soaking up the sun in the garden. It was so peaceful and the views are stunning! We would definitely recommend staying at Blackpool Farm Cottage.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and comfortable and the grounds were good for gentle walks - we didn't play golf but it's there if you need it!! The photo and description of the rooms are not correct, the window was that small and high you could not see out of it, no comfortable lounge chairs in room as it was too small. Stuck up in a attic room with a sloping ceiling Pool area not clean towels left on beds not being used and cups and drink bottles left, changing area not clear, slippers and towel left in there, for over a hour Make your own bed ! We planned for a luxurious stay, maybe our very last holiday...
We planned for a luxurious stay, maybe our very last holiday and needed and booked an accessible room. Our first berth was a suite, very acceptable but an awkward trip from the lift and without bathroom aids. When the lift broke down our second room was so far from reception that we had to use the car to get there due to my partner's disability - and given the daily change in room rate was sometimes dearer than the suite, which we only found out at check-out. Isolation, inconvenience and uncertainty completely ruined our stay and we could not possibly recommend the hotel as it presently managed.StephenUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Hotel staff are very helpful, sauna and swimming pool are right on the hotel and clean. The pub menu hasn't got loads of variety, but the food was good, also not a good variety of drinks available at the hotel and the pub.

Cooked breakfast was excellent. We ate in the linden tree pub as the hotel restaurant isn’t open mid week in the evenings, the menu in the Linden Tree is fairly basic, but we all enjoyed our choices and the atmosphere in the pub was better than in the hotel, for both food and drinks.
