A fantastic discovery! A lovely pub with accommodation. The warmest of welcomes from Helen on arrival and the room was lovely and spotlessly clean. George and the team couldn’t have been more welcoming. Breakfast is excellent as is the evening menu. Will definitely be returning.

What a gem of a hotel. Super friendly staff, great rooms, fabulous meals(breakfast and evening) and in a great location for exploring the Alnwick area. Oh, and thank you for 2 fried bread and 2 fried egg for breakfast😀👍.Nice bar area for relaxing in the evening. Good selection of beers and wines. Our group of 12 had a wonderful May day bank holiday weekend. The staff were brilliant. Thank you. Dave.

The Bondgate Boutique, hotel in Ingram

Located centrally within the historic market town of Alnwick, this ‘room only' accommodation offers small bedrooms with en-suite facilities.

The room was very clean, cosy and warm. It was nice to have the extra touches in the room, ie the tray of refreshments and also to have fresh milk outside the door. The room was very central for all amenities in Alnwick.

Beautiful decor and furnishings, with everything well thought out. Our room was luxurious and the bed so comfortable. We loved the jar of homemade cookies! Staff could not have been more helpful and the breakfast was wonderfully tasty. The location is right in the heart of the town, close to the castle. Ideal for exploring on foot. Really couldn’t fault anything.

Felt very well looked after. Breakfast was exceptional, highly recommend the Seahouses kipper! The room was clean, spacious and inviting, bed was comfortable and we loved the complimentary cake and tipple. Really lovely touches that made our stay very comfortable.

Doxford Hall Hotel And Spa, hotel in Ingram

Originally built in 1818, this beautifully restored country house is set in 10 acres of grounds, 15 minutes’ drive north of Alnwick.

Extremely helpful staff at reception. At check in and check out Luke was particularly helpful and went the extra mile to answer my queries. Beautiful hotel and grounds and very relaxing ambiance with plenty quiet areas like the library and gardens to enjoy. Dinner was in a beautiful dining room and beautifully presented with and excellent menu. Although I was just on holiday it would be ideal for a special occasion too. Because I brought my dog with me we coud have a lovely breakfast in the cocktail bar and staff were extremely helpful and accommodating to do this as part of their excellent pets policy , which with all the little touches in the room was one of the best I've come across. Leisure facilities were very nice too and the grounds were lovely to explore.

Perfect location and base for visiting local attractions and relaxing. The choice of food and wine were excellent, as was the attention from Staff. Rooms above The Bosk are exceptional. We didn't have time to try the many other facilities but they all looked excellent. Very tranquil surroundings and good for walking in farmland-type lanes.
